The USA regime has a long history of supporting phony leftist groups, and of tactical alliances with communist powers, to serve their own agenda. Look up: CIA support for the communist Leon Trotsky against the USSR regime of Stalin; USA rapprochment with maoist China on the Indochina conflcits in the 1970's; or the fact that the leading USA neoconservatives, are all former trotskyist communists.
