I used to play this song pretty similarly to the way you do. Now, though, I'm fairly sure the into section is done with the right hand outlining the hits on various toms and the left filling in eighth-note-ghost-notes between each hit (with a fill down the toms at the end of each phrase). It sounds more correct to me when I play it that way, anyway. Rest of the song sounds spot on, though.

He's not on time in the bridge, the intro is all eighth notes on the bass drum with no dynamic range or accent where it's supposed to be.
