you said strength has alot to do with aiming that was a fasle, beleive it or not i dont know if you know this but we train women snipers here in america and you said you are an undersized man and it is hard for you to control an ak and an rk but i had to clear up that it has nothing to do with size and strength but it does help..thats all i want to make clear..women and "undersized men" are in the same catagory they can be trained to aim just as well as "meat heads".

Again, the marines use american weapons, right? It's a different weapon, and they really can't be compared. American weapons are more accurate than AK based weapons and they don't hit you back.
However the AK based weapons have some serious advantages when it comes to combat in terrain found in Finland for example. One thing we were thought was that hiding from bullets behind trees is useless. 5.56 bullets are easy to get of course, and hard wind makes it impossible to hit anything.
well let me clear something up for you, my sister weighs about 110 pounds no strength at all she had never shot a gun before ever let alone an ak-47 but nobody told her that an ak-47 was hard to control but i had her hitting a target at 100 yards within a half an hour...the point is its all in your head..if you suck at aiming then thats it you just suck at aiming but it has nothing to do with strength but it does help dont get me wrong..
A houndred yards isn't a hard mark to hit (Each shot should hit the mouth at that range). It gets hard at around 300m. It does require a lot of strenght to press the weapon against you to keep it stable. For example before we ever fire the weapon we practice by placing a coin on the front sight. The coin must remain immoblie when you fire the weapon (whithout a bullet of course).

Might be true for the AK, but not for the rk. The most important thing to remember when you fire is that it requires a lot of strenght. A child could never hope to hit anything with an AK. Even I at the age of 18 find myself to weak to keep the weapon accurate at times.
I have never fired a M16, so I can't say anything about it. But after some training I have no problem hitting a circle with a radius of 10 cm from 150m. And to me that's accurate enough. But as I said I have never seen let alone fired an american weapon.
The reason to have semi-auto at the bottom and full-auto in the middle is simply because it's easier to just push the switch as far down as you can. In the army we are instructed against using full auto as it's just a waste of bullets. It's a lot more effecive to fire aimed bullets.
at 2:53 see how the ak-47 has the full auto select before semi auto, thats because ak-47s are machine guns more than rifles.on the ar-15 it has semi-auto before full auto

well its really impossible to say, ak parts are interchangable with any 7.62 model. same goes for 5.45 models. so the person could have custom built it.
there are many models of the AK the first model was ak 47 now they have automatic snipers called AK the even have an SMG AK there is also an AK that uses explosive and armor pearcing bullets called the AK 71 or something like that but there are tons of AK models the 47 model is just more reliable.

AK parts are interchangeable unless its a completely different variant. That operates differently so how about do some research before making an ass of yourself.

wtf? :-D you dont no nothing about AK´s do you? Many parts can be changed between diffrenet AK´s

well its really impossible to say, ak parts are interchangable with any 7.62 model. same goes for 5.45 models. so the person could have custom built it.

The folder AK show here is a chinese chicom AK and its rather an AKM than AK47

id say its a type 56 with ak compensator (74 type) akms have bakelite pistol grips and grooved foregrips for better controlability.

yes this is common for Russian and other AKs but it is not a rule for all AKs. The chinese are different in this.
If you look at the foregrip you will notice its a bit flashy and that ist the type 56 wood certainly
and when you look at the bottom part of the gas tube you will notice a AKM bayonet lug. So I think this is a AKM definitely

there are many models of the AK the first model was ak 47 now they have automatic snipers called AK the even have an SMG AK there is also an AK that uses explosive and armor pearcing bullets called the AK 71 or something like that but there are tons of AK models the 47 model is just more reliable.

You can buy aftermarket flash-suppressors for an AK-47.

Good video. We'll be waiting for more. Where do you get a select fire ak-47? Thought they were semi or full auto, not both features in one.

almost all assault rifles are select fire
your probably thinking of civillian ak's which are semi-auto only, which made you think there are two variants that have a specific fire mode. military grade ak's have always been select-fire

Yes that's true. Our expert does mention that the majority of AKs are made with wood furniture in later episodes. We've decided to let him live a while longer . . .
