chech your g1 on screen keyboard again, they updated the software where you have a qwerty keypad on screen, press and hold the area where you want to type and it will give you an input method.

ONLY reason im gettin iphone over g1 (htc dream) is because i go to rogers stores and i see broken g1's al lthe time, like the screen jus gone. my friends also noted that the flimsy mechanism that controls the g1's screen slide is too weak for constant use

I have an odd Nokia E65 which can connect/tether to everything, the only thing it does not have yet is Wimax wave 2 - I can't believe that iPhone has only just gone 3G when the world is becoming 4G ready.
