I remember there being a short version of this, starting right before the company name appears. It didn't show up when Boom (an abbreviation for Boomerang us cartoon fans use) ran the CP marathon this past Saturday. It probably appears when Boom runs it late at night.

Sounds very close to the NBC Peacock theme song. I hope that NBC's legal eagles didn't hear that back in the '80s.

This was a relief after seeing that creepy DIC logo on Captain Planet. This may have appeared on Starcade when it was on TV (Not found on the website with the episodes.)

It still comes on after the DiC version of "Captain Planet" on Boomerang. I was surprised to see it on there, especially since it was believed to be extinct.

This logo was also used in the 80's for a number of acquired Japanese films and TV shows that were dubbed into english such as "Ultra 7" and a number of animated features from Toei Animation.
