I just don't like the way Mooneys look, with the tail 90 degrees to the fuselage. It looks funny and un-aerodynamic. Plus I would want more than one door on airplane.

im pretty sure that the rudder makes it more maneuverable by being pushed forward.

Actually, the rudder design and shape is MORE aerodynamic with less wetted surface area for the same frontal area by being shaped as it is. Also of note, the entire empemage moves/rotates to provide elevator trim. That too gives an aerodynamic improvement as there is no counter force by having an elevator trim tab hanging out opposing the elevator. Mooney's are an engineering marvel.

Fantastic video - but... 2 POB as you said in your flight details? Remember that's PERSONS on board not PASSENGERS. And 2 hours to Sydney? You'd have to be averaging 190kts point to point... wow your M20J must be fast or you like to exaggerate just a touch like most pilots... Well done though on a very enjoyable video.
