The academy is based in San Bruno its probably the finest Aviation academy in the world. I now attend symposiums worldwide on there behalf.

wow just read on Wikipedia that Concorde was well know to blow tires. Happen many times before. Also The aircraft was overloaded by about a ton above the maximum safe take off weight.

I have the same feeling just posted a comment, Concorde was well know to blow tires. Nothing done about it for years :( And it was overloaded that day... why overloading an airplane??? I also on the latest air france flight feel like the pilots try to safe on fuel and try to fly trough the storm which crashed the plane :(
I think people on ground who ignore those facts and are responsible for not fixing issues should be locked up for long time..

@societegenialissime Concorde had a very bad design fault the weak fuel tank above the wheels, engineers were aware of this for 25yrs, this had happened 3 times previous but no fires then. Engineers were not bothered to fix that problem let alone upgrade it.

I also on the latest air france flight feel like the pilots try to safe on fuel and try to fly trough the storm which crashed the plane :(

@societegenialissime Concorde had a very bad design fault the weak fuel tank above the wheels, engineers were aware of this for 25yrs, this had happened 3 times previous but no fires then. Engineers were not bothered to fix that problem let alone upgrade it.
