  • where the hell is the baggage cart 2 carry the baggage 2 the terminal

  • For all the cry babies in here:

Consider what you pay fore, the more discount you buy, the more discount your bag is beeing treated, due to the lack of gear and personal to sort it.

  • @michaelesliel07 my dad used to operate the scissor lift trucks at an airport for delta. He said the baggage handlers jobs are the worst.

  • That's nothing! Oh well they dropped and/or threw bags! Do you know how many planes that they have to load and unload a day?! Do you really think that they would take their time to unload and load each bag carefully into the planes?! If so you are a fool to think that! lol

  • WHY IS THIS PROCESS NOT DONE BY ROBOTS? THE JAPANESE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY!

  • I work ramp at PHL's F terminal, and none of us ever intend to move bags like that. The problem is, we don't have a choice. When you work in a team of 2 on 2 gates, and 2 flights have to be turned in under 40 minutes, you as well would realize in 5 minutes that you simply can't place every bag down in neat little rows. We make 2 piles: Connecting mainline bags, and Express connecting bags/Philly terminating bags. Don't blame us, blame the schedule. It's US Airways Express for a reason.

  • Sorry this is a non-issue. If it were a pet carrier or something that would be an issue.

  • they juss throw the bags on the floor like its nothing, and its fcked up...

  • No airport trip is complete without the legendary crying/screaming baby. If it doesnt happen on the plane it will happen in the airport 0:59 = sonic scream

  • I handle bags @ my job and I have NEVER thrown bags on the floor. You have to be prepared for any flight coming to your gate even a gate change. People try to pack a little lighter, the easier it is for YOU to carry your bag the easier it will be for us to HANDLE your bags...

  • Whats in the bags?.... Clothes

    Get over it.

  • there is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY WAYYYYYYYYY worse

  • The fact of the matter is, bags get thrown around!!! Time pressures, aircraft pit design, heavy bags. Like phobal said, do passengers realize the strain your bag is in loading/unloading heavy bags all day? At least the RJ's you can stand up in them... I at least try not to throw them around when I know a planefull of people are watching

  • On quick turnarounds and equipment shortage, this is standard practise.

But there is no excuse for the lady to be tossing the baggage so roughly.

    ~Former Ramp Supervisor~

  • Not USair it is a contracted commuter airline. You all wanted cheaper tickets so the airlines got rid of their own work force and large aircraft farmed out the work to the cheapest bidder. Shit pay equals shit work. And the airlines still pay the same in the long run to repair the bags and equipment, deliver delayed bags and pay off customers that get bumped cause the flights are overbooked. Hey but you saved 9 dollars on your ticket so suck it up. This whole country is getting farmed out.

  • @wetboy8 So true.

  • i see nothing wrong with this one, imagine how heavy these suitcases are, YOU trying doing this job for hours and see how you'd handle the baggage. Its hard work for lousy wages... give these folks credit for what they do....

  • i dont think it was that bad remeber each one weighs like 40lbs or so is she gonna lift every one and move them nicely?

  • You people are way off base on this one, this is pretty standard. I fly often and this is good enough care for me.

  • very Ghetto... and lazy!

  • That's not a USAirways plane

  • i dont blame her, wheres the correct spot to put them, where the help?

  • No way should there have been only one person receiving the luggage. Clearly the amount of bags coming down the ramp got out of control. I don't blame her for tossing them aside.

  • were the luggage mover why put down then pick up

thats the problem and the delay

  • Comment removed

  • @mrhackcomic i mean its just a waist of time to move thing twice everything else is fine i'm moved tons of shit it fine

  • not a bad job.

  • You people who don't work on the ramp need to understand that alot of times we are shorthanded and racing against the clock to get the plane out on time.

  • may be you should see how airports belt systems handles your bags. she is being nice

  • that's a Gilbreti belt loader lol i hate that piece of shit.

  • This is called the ol " dont gotta cart" move. Its quite simple. If they just leave the bags on the plane, once the people unload, the plane could tip on its tail causing major damage to the aircraft. So they are preventing that from happening by taking the weight out of the RJ cargo hold. :) Long live Rampers!!!

  • I want to be ramper. I would like to be considering work for airlines. This is my own responsibilities work for airlines. I am acknowledgement very good for which routes where can go there.

  • rbmccaffery thank you i had forgotten about that aspect of it too

  • ok i wanna see all you people who give us baggage handlers a hard time i wanna see you unload a 757 300 with 300 bags and 15,000lbs of freight, turn right around and load the same in under 45 minutes with managers yelling at you to go faster and then doing that with 12 other planes in 8 hours. lets see how good you treat those bags. oh did i mention that its 20 below zero with a 40 below windchill and your only getting paid 10 bucks an hour to boot.

  • 10 an hour? Damn you guys make the big bucks hahaha

  • what airline you know that pays 10 an hour. they need to be put out of business if that's true. well maybe where you're from they pay 10 an hour. most airlines pay double that. especially the one i work for. JERK!!

  • where I'm at it's only southwest. i'm making 8.50....

  • if all you peole want to complain do it to the CEO of the company and request more people on the ramp so we can serve you the customer better we want to we just dont have the staffing. you have the nerve to call ESE's lazy ? when we use our whole body everyday when you prolly just sit on you ass everyday pushing paper.

  • and on that note randomvids i want you to work a day on the ramp and see how rough it is. like i said i love this job and i pride myself on my work. im a ramp crew chief im responsible for 4 gates i tell people what flights they are going to work. its kinda difficult to work on 4 gates with four people when it takes 3-4 people ONE flight and when you have four flights coming in at the same time. so i ask you randomvids how would you solve this problem ?

  • randomvids i have been doing this job for 3 years i love it and what probably happend is the trasnsfer drivers were late because they were busy running other connecting bags. and camroncraig is right. those little CRJ's are going out within 25-30 minutes of coming in to the gate so if they would have waited for the transfer driver the loadin g wound have been delayed and the flight would have left late and then you would be pissed because of that .

  • wouldnt you just wait for the cart to come instead of just tossin them on the ground??

  • Airlines have tight turn-around times. If they waited for a cart they might be delayed...and then you would be pissed off because you were delayed.

  • Yea I know..Im a ramper myself, but you would never see us do this. You can always rush the bag on the next flight.

  • Oh you think this was bad...you should of seen us when we downbelted them at the terminal...lol

  • if people stop packing a bunch of heavy useless shit in their bags it would not be thrown around like that, its not easy to load and unload 100's of pounds of bags! i mean come on! a 4 day vacation and like 6 bags? seriously people!

  • do us flight attendants a favor, take a carry on with you, and i dont mean an oversize one EITHER!!!! and leave your bags of bullshit at home!

  • if you dont like unloading 100's of pounds of bags then go get a fucking degree and get a better job where you sit behind a desk you lazy fuck !! i'm sure the job app for this didn't say that they will be carrying 1 bag a day , so either do the job right or get the fuck out !! too bad no one does monitor those dumb fucks handling baggage like that.

  • I'm a flight attendant you dumb ass cunt! so i figure your one off those nasty fucks that dont have much of a fucking life so you pack shit on your trips! word to you, leave your SHIT at home, FUCK TARD! FYI i have a masters and PHD. What accomplishment do you have? obviously not alot to be reading comments online! Get a life you economy draining CUNT!

  • on that note! I hope your airline loose your fucking bags every time you travel!!! should not criticize other people's job. Karma is a bitch one day you'll be working cleaning shit off an airport bathroom floor! unless you are already doing that!!! FUCKING IDIOT!!

  • what it really comes down to in the end is that I feel really sorry for you for having a masters and a phd and working as flightattendant and playing MS flight Simulator and posting the videos on youtube !! lmaoo what a fucking joke, you really are a waste of sperm !! ok dude It's all yours from here, feel free to write whatever makes you feel better about yourself ;-) good luck for the future.

  • hey, you have 2 choices. you let us do our jobs fast and we can handle your luggage in whatever way lets us get our job done faster.

OR, if you want us to well take a lot of extra time to make sure each bag is handled so tenderly, and then you can have fun spending 4-5 hours in your connecting city being rebooked because you missed your connection.

you either get pampered bag service, or an on time flight. sorry but in the real world you cant get both

  • Yeah I know...You can't have your cake and eat it too.

  • such care they take with otherpoaples bags

  • I did it while I was in high school. It was fun and interesting. But the pay sucked ass. And you work with a bunch of hellah lazy immigrants.

  • Comment removed

  • yeah, i wanna see those fooking idiots doing that, only thing i get paid lot more than 10bucks/hour =) its no easiest job. Those dang baggages weight a lot, and there is cargo and mail too... fooking retards who dont know shit about this job...

  • ok i wanna see all you people who give us baggage handlers a hard time i wanna see you unload a 757 300 with 300 bags and 15,000lbs of freight, turn right around and load the same in under 45 minutes with managers yelling at you to go faster and then doing that with 12 other planes in 8 hours. lets see how good you treat those bags. oh did i mention that its 20 below zero with a 40 below windchill and your only getting paid 10 bucks an hour to boot

  • Amen

  • Thats why I went on to bigger and better things.

  • THANK YOU! I hate people who give them crap, its a HORRIBLE job imho... and they kind of do have a reason to do that to bags.

  • why does every person who works at the airport in philly treat luggage like shit?

  • Man I wanted to see what she would do the guy in the plane if he came down the belt

  • he isn't doin anythin wrong coz none of the bags have fragile on them and if anythin does break it is the passengers fault for not asking for a label at check in

  • but they ave no right to throw a passengers bag like that

  • this person never actually threw a bag, he/she let the bags drop, but considering a person's back is more valuable than a bag full of laundry and crappy shot glasses, i don't see what the issue is.

  • considering we have 25 mins to unload and load a plane, chucking bags one end of a plane to the other is normal practice, although normaly, there would be a truck ready to pick up the bags rather than chuck em on the floor

  • @MitoDL considering that when i go fly on a plane and i pay you guys to unload a plane i expect professional behavior of people that handle my baggage.

  • @MrFugbuddy Then make sure you pay more, the cheaper the tickets get, the less the guys at the backrooms (baggage handelrs get) the less gear they got, the more your luggage risk to take damage, however this video dont show anything bad at all.. Its common practice to put it next to the slide, if you dont have a cart nearby to pick it up.

You basicly get what you pay for, and not a cent more!

  • @MrFugbuddy if you don't like it, fly on your own plane

  • LOL... if you think they're being rough with the bags you should check out the bag redirectors on the belt systems.

  • so true... United bag sorters are cool. but it is so boring to be there.... in the sorting area under terminal 1 B&C side of ORD

  • that how it is when no one is there to pick up you bags..just dumb them on the ground.lol..it sucks also when its raining and stuff..hehe.
