HERE IS THE H2O SECRET TO HOW THEY MAKE THE GIRLS LOOK LIKE REAL MERMAIDS: the creators of the tails made the tails larger by about a foot (b.t.w. the zipper on the tail is inside the back scales) so when the girls swim in the mermaid motion, it looks like a real tail, and no legs.

Just had aview on your video - well done tail ! I just checking media for such tails becuse i got a deal to make such tails for a youth TV show which is based on H2O.

The Idea of using Neoprene is very good !

I thought that too in my first brainstorming.

To make a base foot tail sock with a connected plastic PP or POM plate where the fin is made out.

Here capuole of material tips for you:

Meryl Skinlife fabric and for real looking plasti dip transparent with bronce pigments

if u can see flippers u must be blind, cus a) there are no flippers in it, and b) i made the tail bottom out of plastic and glued the fabric to it!!! so it wouldnt of opened. its not meant to look real, mermaids arent real have you ever seen one? how am i a bitch when you dont even know me. and dont put horible comments on my videos please. ur the retard if you think you can see 'flippers' there arent even any inside it so dont know where you got that from!!!!! x x mermaid chloe x x

well, if you have flippers, you could use a old bed quilt or curtain and cover your legs and flippers, but this will be water logged, and very heavy under water, you cant really make a budget tail without expecting something to go wronge, but it will still work. good luck! x x mermaid chloe x x

i drew and cut out a cardboard template, then drew around it onto accrilic plastic. (then cut that out) then applied spray foam onto it to create raised parts, then added 2 kg of diving weights to it so it would sink. x x mermaid chloe x x
