The singer for DH is open minded. I have to respect that. I just assumed that because the band announced that they were christian that they were conservative christians. But the fact that they allowed Christian Alvestam to accompany them surprised me because Christian is not religious. Christian is spiritual. Which means he believes in the power of the mind and sees the illusions that arise from ego. Just type in Scar symmetry and the song dreaming 24/7 and read the lyrics to see what i mean.

I think this song is about when Christians stand up and confront non-believers. It's encouraging them to, when their faced with opressions, to "just breathe." The line "suffer again" suggests face and confront non-believers again. "Fight back this isn't over" suggests: fight back against what they throw at you and keep in mind that what they say isn't the end.

i don't get it......i listen to alot of christian metal and you really have to search for the christianity in these guys lyrics.....i've read the lyrics to like 10 songs and alot of them talk about being miserable and that's not what god is about in my opinion.....i haven't seen ANY glorifying words at all

Look at their song Thorns. It's about people who cut/burn themselves who don't need to because "Christ had already been cut for us, so there was no need for us to inflict pain on ourselves. That work has been paid for in full by the cross

That's why I love them even though I'm usually not into metal. Try "The World Is a Thorn", "Shallow Water", "Undying", and "Fire to my Soul".
