Got to see this guy perform in Raleigh, NC USA about 10 or 15 years ago. Most amazing thing I've ever seen. I love all of my Nigerian friends (both Igbo and Yoruba) who introduced me to this man and his music.
I am Black and born in America, but I know my true roots are in Africa- in particular the Nigerian and Zulu cultures. When you look at me, you would swore I was from deep dark Africa. African People, god bless you. You are great.
I discovered this music relatively recently and was sad to find out the chief was dead. But his faboulous music lives on. The guitar playing is fabulous. Moving in more ways than one.
im a yoruba man and i live in oba idemili north local goverment area in anambra stae in the 90s this is the only song of osita osadebe that has really thrilled me i think one mc loph sampled the tune for his record but i like this one sir keep it moving we are all one
osankwa, the prominent and hilarious musician of the century, chief osadebe lyric and songs are highly prophetic and philosophic , and that marks the great and unique cultural heritage of igbos. rest in peace. adios. ozocha na spain
Those gud ole' days growing up in Lagos, Every perper soup and iseewu joint must identify there location with this song so you dont mistakingly pass them by.
I dont care what any idiot thinks. i believe that nigerians are the best people in the world. intelligent, industrious, happy people. i am proud to be a nigerian. i will never deny my country for anybody.
@blessedchild2 i dont think u know wat u saying .why r they scumuszin all the ladies and taking away all 99% of beauty of a woman just throw it away like that .im sorry there r not intelligent .
i pay full respect to the Oba Osita and all our Elders who give us the best way of communication of the universe music Africa is on our hearts and Ifa never gonna lie
Osondi Owendi means.. what appeals to some people's interest or what they like or love is also repulsive to others or they do not like or live it. It means that there is nothing that will please all the people in the world alike.
those who think the translation is not right need to understand the difference between translation and trans-literation. I think the translation is ok.
chief osadebe is great. by the way any one reading this not from america know that PUREAMERICAN's point of view is not the point of view of many white americans. he has many problems and one day i hope he finds some kind of resolve.
America must fall before it can rise, the day of ethnic cleansing will come. The struggle of our people is now. Our children will share in the light of the fourth reich right here in America 14/88
LOL! Yea, and it fell under BUSH!! And now it must rise up by THOSE WHO BUILT IT.. brick by brick.. There will be no ethnic cleansing, besides the complete abandonment of all things REDNECK lol!
If you wanna be a nazi, maybe go to Europe, Germany or France, theres lots of your kind there! LOL!.. The AMERICAS ARE FOR ALL HUMANS
It has fallen due to liberal policies, and democrat give away programs. America is now a socialist country the shiftless and lazy are paid to sit on their fat filthy asses. In Cuba you work or go to jail, here we give illegals money and amnesty. There is a silent majority who is sick and tired of yard apes comitting crimes against our neighbors, we are biding our time and soon we will wash the streets clean with their blood. The Nazi idealogy will rise once again!! 14/88
As an aside, George Bush and his daddy in my mind are in the same category as nigerian scammers, and yard apes like yourself. The coon elect already had his initial vote of confidence the stockmarket plumeted like a rock the day he took office, and has been down since he won the election. But that is good we need social unrest, higher unemployment it gives us more disalusioned followers willing to be soldiers for our Aryan cause.
It's going to be soooo funny when you "Aryan" nutbags realize most white folks are not ignorant and insane! LOL!!
THIS HAS NEVER BEEN YOUR LAND!! WHITE PPL HAVE NEVER BEEN THE ONLY PEOPLE IN NORTH AMERICA! AND THEY NEVER WILL BE
What you are waiting for may happen, but it will be a spurt of racism that is necessary to finally rid the America's of the scourge you represent.. You are INSANE! yes, you rely on higher unemployment to make moneyloving ppl crazy
Hey i like your ideas. You should start this race war so that them hoodlums in the ghettoes of America can take revenge for the spilt blood that has never been accounted for. You only represent less than 10% of the world population and will soon be a minority in America, western Europe and where ever your cursed seed resides. With all your 'power' you are a dying race...yes the west/europeans are dying and the South is rising and multiplying!! Sat AMEN!!! AMEN!!!!
please lilobi, calm down mate and remember everyone acted in their own way, don't allow a humanbeing like you to swear or say obscene things that is not upbuilding.
keep in mind that if someone call you names, you will not be happy.
mild temper turn away rage and please represent us the igbos ok.
I understand what u r trying to say, but you just have to look at the despicable comments PUREAMERICAN wrote about us Africans to realize that he hates us dearly and if he had his way, we would be wiped off the face of this earth as a race and as an ethnic group. Did you hear him talk about the Nazi ideology rising once again. God forbid that from happening again, because if that day comes again, the world will probably come to an end.
thank you for your opinion and to be sincere with you. God is not a respecter of person but those that fear him and his commandment, he will love and he want everyone to be equal to him not a racist.
Don't worry bros, no shaking and we are proud to be africans. remember the song osondi owendi.
