  • Abschreiben kann ich auch....

  • Honestly I've been programming in various languages over the years (C++ being my main one, python the most fun) and it's more about the thrill of discovering a new technique than it is the thrill of arthritis medicine. Maybe I mixed those up, but they're both good.

  • what the f**k i just watched 2 mins typing on a f**kin keyboard and you're not even going to show me what you made in that time?, for all we know you could've just been typing an email, or watching word porn. i mean the camera is too shit to see the screen the music is depressing and i am sad enough to write all this :D

  • Okay... funny, but, now do the "Life of a:

    - Factory worker

    - Basically any type of worker

    - Any type of artist

    - Anybody involved in agriculture

    - ANYONE involved in ANYTHING which produces VALUE..."

What you will find, is people standing / sitting there, possibly looking quite tired or being a bit down, and doing the same shit over and over again.

  • @AMYuntold Fail troll is fail

  • imagine this is the video in highspeed. and the real length is actually 2 millions hours

  • I'm tired of GarageBand music!

  • Long compiling time ;)

    Architecture might help ;)

  • it's all i ever dreamed of

  • Did anyone notice the music is synced with his hands?

  • The most boring 2 minutes of my life, who the fuck would want this shitty job?

  • @CeletenteFan223 You cant understand it if your not a programmer. I personally love my job.

  • @CeletenteFan223 trust me when i say this, it is boring as hell and programmers only do it for the money. Trust me on this.

  • @fthis1234567 Dont know if you are a programmer, but if think you are.. then i feel sorry for you.

For me being a programmer is something like being also in love. Writing lines of code, code that comes to life.. like a little child that grows and matures over time, more and more complex with its own character... like an individual...

Unfortunately, you will never be able to understand this.. because you dont share the same passion. But its ok ;)

  • @VladCPP did u just start programming? pfft, cause after a couple of years you'll see what i mean.

  • @fthis1234567 Just 4 years atm. Im coding games, i love it.

  • @VladCPP ya i have no doubt u are a programmer and love it, b/c u sound geeky and probably can't get a girl worth shiit. u piece of shiit ugly mofo.

  • @fthis1234567 Hahaha, poor you. Go find some counseling, wrong again ;)

  • @CeletenteFan223 ummmmmmm lots of people there is different areas of programing like the boring shit is like making programs for banks and stuff but my area is development like video games, websites, etc

  • May :)

  • >a day in the life of a programmer

    >using a mac

    yeah, no.

  • just asking question... what will be the best(for you, in your opinion) c++ or javascript? im just confuse about what will i be using..... :)

  • @stillfly096 O god you're far off. C++ is one of the fastest programming languages, used to make programs, game engines, games, etc. Javascript is mainly used to make interactive "things" on websites. What do you plan on doing with your knowledge if you learn a programming language?

  • @xXTheRush905Xx :) sori... but tnx for the reply.. now im not confused.. :) tnx again....

  • @stillfly096 I can direct you in the right direction for the correct programming language. Just tell me what you want to program.

  • um im woundering is it good to be a programmer cuz im just and i know much about gaming and scripting?

  • copying code from fourms to an ide is not what i consider programing

  • though, the toughest part may be pseudo coding

learning the sintax is pretty easy

...this for example is c code(with possible sintax errorssince youtube does not have a compiler :))

    if((x<=y)and(x<z)) if(statement)  else for(example;example;example)

I hope you get what i mean...

  • @Gotcha1234Mariok That makes absolutely no sense. Why do you have two if statements?

  • @ArcaneCfg sorry, mispelled,it was meant to be an else if...what i wanted to say is that it is easy to learn the sintax, but what you really need to learn is pseudo code...

  • thats just like me... whats the song...

  • @Annon119 The song is made by a program called Garage band

  • GET A REAL JOB

  • @ThePrivateJoker Uhh you realise that computing would've never advanced and we'd be a lot more primitive without these guys, right? So, what do you do for a living?

  • @GoldenBlockGaming he probably got some bullshit degree like art history and is bartending, starbucks...or both

  • @ThePrivateJoker I bet his jobs is more real than yours.

  • @lilybugged I bet your still a student.

  • FOREVER ALONE GUYS :D

  • The ending says "Get off your ass and go learn to program" in binary code .. well time to go back to watching video tutorials if I want to be as epic as this guy

  • @DarkZendar I don't know about you, but I learned to program

    while(sittingOnAss){

    code();

    }

  • @DarkZendar More like stay on your ass and go learn to program...

  • hi guys! can u help me giving a brief info about our specializations? im still undecided what to pursue, but im leaning toward .net framework or java. can u give me a little info considering which is highly demanded and which is more useful in our current industry.

yeah very hard for me to decide. i dnt care which one is easier or hard to learn. im willing to fail alot to learn. thanks guys!

  • Programming can be a hobby, in fact, any activity in which you take pleasure, and do regularly, is a hobby. However I would not be sure if I'd be willing to see in front of a computer screen all day, you can do it for a few ours, but hmm... too much of it would make me tired. Fixing apps and building them sounds like a lot of fun when you like it, and without attachments.

  • Not a single line of code was written that day.

  • @ThePiggy351 some year ago, a psychologist said to me that programming isn't a hobby and I don't have any social life and she said it like I was mad or something like that. Now I'm Founder of a Gaming DEV. Team, I have a lot of friends and I'm working on job that I love. Don't trust people that you don't know, don't listen to them and use your own head!

  • couple questions. who hires programmers? what is the pay like starting and how much college do you need minimum?

  • @crzzymnn911 when you need a program for your company, or you're a game developer which is searching for people to hire. For programming you don't need to have any degree or college done. Not at all, but 90% of companies just makes you a test, and if you pass it, then you're welcome! Also they require some projects done recently. You need to know someone inside that team because only a stupid person would accept someone who don't know inside his team.

  • I make more money than 95% of the ppl on earth doing what I love to do. Nobody messes with me, I get mad respect and I can make your life a living hell at will.

    Problem?

  • lol i think this video is kinda funny

  • Comment removed

  • Left screen: Copy source code off forums.

Macbook screen: Paste source code into IDE.

  • @LanHikari90 Every programmer does that nowadays.

  • @LanHikari90 stackoverflow? lol

  • @LanHikari90 music: shitty mixes of premade sounds in garage band

  • What is the reason for a programer to have multiple moniters running at once?

  • 240p we met again

  • He look like on Yun-Fat Chow 2:09

  • does any one reccommend studying computer science for me? please i dont know much about working as a programmer and how hard/long it is and how much creativity it takes , and what makes a good programmer and is it possible to work in higher positions in the future?

  • Thrilling job.

  • sshhhht he's wired in !!

  • Garage Band? Really? But hey cool song..

  • I don't work and Im rich, fuck you

  • @ikevcolt Well I can see you making a lot of friends.

  • is this java ?

  • looks ummm.... exciting

  • yup i cant wait to grow up and do this for the rest of my life :D

  • better learn programming than watching this piece of shit...waste of time

  • Interesting Music...

  • just stupid

  • This is my life.

  • why are you using a mac?

  • this video is lying, programmers have no life

  • @Dweepnes Programmers just have a brain and know how to think logically about problems and life in general.

  • @MrPitbull917

    >Browsing random videos

    >Look at top comments

    >Run into Pitbull917

  • @EpicWin732 Haha! Nice man! :P

  • @MrPitbull917 My dad is a programmer, and when he comes home from work, he turn on his lap top and starts programming until he got tired. :D

  • @Dweepnes No life? In what way, you get payed a lot of money, its pretty enjoyable and takes as much time as any other job. Why is that no life?

  • @Dweepnes Sounds like you failed programming school and you have a cheap job now. LOL

  • @MuliishaTV and you sound like an internet hero

  • @Dweepnes uMad bro?

  • @MuliishaTV Yep, that is what internet heroes do

  • LOL so true, couple lines of code, back to the browser :D

  • Well the way I see it, there's 10 kinds of peop- *shot*

  • We work for 4 hours net a day, the rest is chatting with co-workers and getting paid lots of money

  • @korvix Programmers truly don't get paid a lot, and I mean I am against Proprietary software. Second all he is doing is watching programmer's porn A1 B2 C4 D8 E15 in 5 bytes. I mean no one programs fast on Windows and no one smart uses Mac.

  • @korvix That is why the economy is messed up

  • @LiquidZ2k Not really. Maybe you should actually think of what they have to do. Lol.

  • @korvix You work 4 hours per day? STOP! You're making the rest of us look lazy

  • @korvix :bitchplease:, programmers are exploited and bad paid , well at least in my country :ok:

  • @korvix do you program for a game development company?

  • Thats one boring life then

  • @hacky33 You have no idea. Not even being sarcastic, you don't.

  • real programmers use both MAC and "windows"

  • @Thomashed15 lol real programmers

  • @Thomashed15 No, they don't use either.

  • Programming? This jerk off isn't even typing. The code doesn't write itself. The title should be "Life of a liar looking for fake degrees to try to steal real jobs"

  • @ThePrivateJoker I'm not "looking for fake degrees", I've been a software dev for 8 years, and this video pretty much sums up my life.... Code for 10 mins, stare for 5 mins, code for 8 mins, stare for 6 mins....

  • @DarthKeller Wow. You haven't learned anything in 8 years. I hope no one pays you to "program" software.

  • @ThePrivateJoker Quite the opposite! I've learned a lot in that time. As for pay, I get paid VERY WELL for my skills as a developer! Thanks for asking. BTW, I don't "program software", I "write code".

  • @DarthKeller LOL you "write code" like an arrogant student you pos

  • @ThePrivateJoker So, I told the other coders in my office about you: We're all laughing at you right now. If you think this video doesn't accurately describe the life of a coder, then you work in a sweatshop (there are a few around OKC, I know what it's like). If you work in a sweatshop, I'm sorry and I wish you the best looking for a better job.

  • @DarthKeller LOL an office of low-producing "coders". I'm not surprised. 40% of your office time is spent 'thinking and googling' lol Your employer should look elsewhere for experienced "coders" omg too funny.

  • @ThePrivateJoker $10 million project. 2 weeks ahead of schedule. Yes, we SUCK. We should all quit.

I still haven't really figured you out. Congrats. Usually it takes me little time to know a person's true intent, even behind interweb postings. So, I'll take a guess: You're a suck coder in a suck job and now you're taking it out on others. Cool. Go ahead. I don't mind. Know this: The guys in my office are all very well paid, we get things done, we're happy.

    Have a good one.

  • @DarthKeller Omg - Stop embarrassing yourself kid. After 8 years you should be more productive than you were when you failed out of high school. Obviously you're not.

  • @DarthKeller that guy is an angry troll who obviously doesn't know what he's talking about. Just ignore his disposition ;)

  • @MrLegoMan88 Oh, I realized who he is after his last comment. He's someone who does manual labor for a living (and there's nothing wrong with that), but now he thinks that anyone who doesn't do manual labor isn't working. He's just pissed about his station in life, hence the lack of response.

Seriously though, my office really did laugh at him. We still do from time to time.

  • @BriceOnIce If you are good at coding/programming, you can make a LOT of money. I am a multi-lang programmer.

  • to many zero's for me,nothing to understand!

  • hahaha... i know what this video mean...

a programmer just focus on computer...

he didn't know his friend was record that in video...hehehe

    sory for my english... :D

  • oh I'm computer scienctist, I don't see the sun, I seat in a cubicle eating chips and drinking moutaindew staring at computer screen all day. I'm single too.

  • life of a programmer = using headphones constantly, unfortunately

  • Ctrl+c/ Ctrl+v .. Thats what you define a programmer

  • u can only be a real programmer if u use windows sorry xD

  • @MRPGAMEDEVELOPERS windows users have to suffer allot more thats why :D

  • YRA I am in programming for the bitches too.

  • this ain't true ... I'm a programmer too, but i prefer to relax all the time:P I'm kidding. However, I only program when I'm in good mood... I don't know about others though lol

  • Dude....just type in IDDQD and its all good....you can't die.

  • I tried to program, then I took arrow to the knee!

  • I used to code like this, then i took a arrow to the kneeeeeeee!!!!

  • lame

  • no real progamer uses a linux

  • I think you forgot to add in all the "what the fuck?"s and "WHY THE FUCK WON'T YOU WORK"s

  • Why is he wearing headphones??

  • i code visual basic and c++ and i kinda know how frustrating it is to code some times

  • i tried studying software engineering just wasn't patient enough i guess.

  • >Mac

    >programmer

    FUCK YOU

  • @GenoSkill >Windows

    >programmer

    FUCK YOU

  • @iappleshahh

    >implying that if I don't have a Mac the only option is top use Windows so I use Windows.

    >nick is iappleshahh

    >mfw

  • he should have raged at the end when his code wouldnt compile.

  • @youtubian2500 binception

  • @youtubian2500 Easy... the answer is: binception

Come back when you tell me that I know Binary rofl.

  • @Howtodothatshit Pff, you don't need to know binary to solve it.

  • @youtubian2500 Oh yes you do.

You can't solve this in any other way than if you know Binary.

Or you could cheat and go to an online Binary decompiler.

  • @youtubian2500 got it. its 01100010 i 01101110 c 01100101 p 01110100 i 01101111 n.

  • @youtubian2500 If I'm up to it, I'll solve it. Homework atm :/

  • @youtubian2500 0= off 1=on what do i have to solve moron?

  • @gmodpenguin24 Each set represents a character, that is the problem you're supposed to solve. Good for you for figuring out that 0 = "off" and 1 = "on" though.

I bet no one else knows about this, I'll call the tabloids~!

  • @youtubian2500 decimals : 48 49 49 48 48 48 49 48 32 105 32 48 49 49 48 49 49 49 48 32 99 32 48 49 49 48 48 49 48 49 32 112 32 48 49 49 49 48 49 48 48 32 105 32 48 49 49 48 49 49 49 49 32 110. or : 339 363 334 323 370 323 380 289. or : 2,721.
  • @youtubian2500 ;01100010=i;01101110=c;01100101=p;01110100=i;01101111=n;. All you did was insert a load of random characters...

  • @AFFIXIATION1 It is not random. There is a message in there, it's kind of funny that you didn't see it.

  • @youtubian2500 Seems pointless. Probably why I didn't bother to think there was a message in it. Kudos for wasting your own time.

  • @AFFIXIATION1 Again, it's funny that you didn't solve it, you were half-way there.

Also, if I'm having fun, it's not a waste of time.

  • Be sure to drink your Ovaltine.

  • @youtubian2500 00110000 00100110, i have ABSOLUTELY no clue what i just wrote, but i know it is funny :)

  • @youtubian2500 I've been trying to solve this, but I've gotten to the point where I'm just blankly staring at the screen. You have a plethora of 48's and 49's. If you pay attention to the letters, you put them in some spots: icpin. Rearranging those letters does not help. Could you give me a hint?

  • @rocki34 Without giving too much away...

    Iterate _all_ binary segments.

  • @youtubian2500 haha turns out I was looking at a very simplified ascii conversion table. It didn't show what the numbers under 65 meant. If only I knew that 32 was a space and that 48/49 represented 1's and 0's :P haha it was fun, thanks :D binception :)

  • @rocki34 Hah, I'm glad you enjoyed my little puzzle. :)

It's fun doing wordplay with binary.

    Or should I say...binaryplay?

  • fail.. I don't really see that his coding btw.

  • Okay. Mac is an OS that programmers CAN'T use. Linux is a OS that programmers SHOULDN'T use. You guys are newbs.

  • @lilybugged and Windows is an OS that programmers don't want to use.

  • agreed any real programer uses Linux or Windows XP.

  • Comment removed

  • LOL sorry but you cannot program on MAC lololol get a proper system like linux u nawb and stop playing with toys like apple products you're a BIG BOY NOW!

  • @TheJanek566 Okay. This is the funniest comment I've ever seen. ever.

  • no real programer uses a mac

  • @viper08v10 Are you fucking kidding me?

Minecraft was/is created ONLY using Macs >.>

  • @elasticweed Yea this is why it's the lamest game ever created. I rather play tetris than this bshit.

  • @TheXrs1991 Who said Tetris was a bad game?
