Ramones - Rockaway Beach - Drum Cover

I caught the Ramones over 30 times in my lifetime. I remember how mezmerized i was watching Tommy and Marky. I remember their style and i have to say you got it down. People don't understand great drumming. It is not about all of the drum rolls and having 50 pieces like Rush. Great drumming is being able to maintain that amazing fluid beat without missing anything. I am a guitarist, not a drummer but i know good drumming when i hear it.

hello!!! you drum set is Pearl, but what sizes and what tipe of wood and characters of each tom and snare?

why i see your videos and this drum is very good!

@trasbata Hi, I don't really know the type of wood the drums are made of. It's a Pearl Vision. And the cymbals are all Sabian.

I get the good sound by mixing it in Cool Edit and use a compressor on it and equalizer.

@trasbata My hi-hat and ride are B8 series. The crash cymbals are AAX. My drumheads are all Pearl Protone.

Are you recording with only that one mic?

@XxlithiumacexX Yeah just one mic in front of my drumkit. Then I edit the sound in Cool Edit. Put a compressor on it and eq it a bit.

@Randomtree777 Yeah I know. I hit it wrong and tried to fix it when I mixed it but it screwed up and I didn't know how to repair it. So I just left it like that.
