Christianity is based on the old testament but when you go back to Genesis you'll find that it borrows heavily from the Sumerian texts on creation and "The Epic of Gilgamesh." Any consultation with the information on these people will prove that. the egyptian book of the dead does not attribute the traits to Horus as zeitgeist does. As people who are for Christianity stretch the truth a lot of the time to fit their agenda, so do the people who are against it.

If you research science thorougly and reach on your conclusions then you can be in the position to have an opinion on whether God exists or not. God and religion are not one and the same. Learn first few things on great scientists and their beliefs is one way. Believe or not an opinion... research!
