@trenabolx No, this can't happen because they only come when you invite them up and they never pull out their claws, because they don't want to scratch you(except when they're young and don't understand). I've learned one of my cats to do that, thats why I know it....
She is absolutely darling. I love her! My cats are very loving and beautiful, and I wouldn't trade them, but she really is devoted; the way she talks when she jumps- you can here her saying "here I come; get ready to catch me!" What an angel!! :)
A cat like that has no owners...she has servants!! LOL
Seriously...I don't think anyone ever owns a cat. It's a partnership; the best way to describe it is that we are their guardians; they are our wards. But yes; the humans she lives with are very lucky indeed. :)
Oh, let's face it: we're their parents. It's gotten to the point where pet-shop workers call us that. And it's true. Didn't give birth to my two, but they're my kids, for sure.
@AuriculaCZ I have an apple head Siamese and it seems like most of the oriental breeds are very talkative and needy! I stay at home with him all day and its like clock work he comes to me and jumps right in my lap and sleeps there for hours while I work on the computer. If I don't let him he just sits in the floor and cries!!! They are precious and such great cats to get if you want a pet that is lovey and chatty! ;)
I'm not sure she wants a cat companion.. the Oriental cats are very affectionate, but especially with human beings.. like my Burmese was in a household with several cats, and I often got him for taking care when the owners were abroad. He clearly showed he enjoyed it more being the centre of attention as the only cat, and finally my friend gave him to me because he was happier that way!
from videos on youtube I d guess if you have more cats, get another Burmese and Siamese, they re more the same
beautifull, addorable, amazing!!! I love oriental cats!! where do you live? and what's the cattery? my oriental is "Gazal" from Spain!! take a look in gastusia´s videos
I am absolutly starting to become a fan of this breed on these youtube vids alone.

My oriental boy, Shaman does the same, he can jump as high as 1.8 meter...
Sometimes he jumps by occassion, only for fun, but he always jumps when we ask him to do so! :-) Sometimes he scare our friend with this a lot! :-))

Our Darling, Artemis, she is better and better in her games. Sometimes she is so quick that we can't follow her playing. :)
On the other hand, she is very friendly and she always sleeps in bed with us. :)

We haven't trained her that. She likes to be near us and this is one way how she can be very close to us. :-))
