To be honest, as a PS3 user myself, I wouldn't buy a system simply based on the controller. By now, both the Xbox 360 and PS3 are and should be considered similar enough to disregard their differences. Buy what you like, and stick with it! people just babies playing their street fighter, blazlbuub is my fave. i love having barely any characters, barely animated sprites, baby controls, infinite combos, dumb character designs, and music for dumb idiots.

one of the most unbalanced fighting game i've ever played. V-13, Arakune, and Rachel dominate the rest of the cast. Arsystem, i want my 65$ back. Only thing that was good is the bonus music cd.

SF4 is not better than this, and this is not better than SF4. Why? They're different type of fighters, can't compare. It's like comparing Halo with Counter-Strike.
Let's see: BB soundtrack comes with LE of game. SF4 has no soundtrack. BB's soundtrack is worth listening to. SF4's is crap. BB is High-Def 2D. SF4 fucked up with 3D/2.5D graphics. BB has balance (except Nu). SF4 has a bunch of Ryu clones. BB's story ISN'T crap. SF IN GENERAL doesn't even have a story. Ragna the Bloodedge is a badass dude in red. Ryu has no purpose for living anymore. SF4 is inferior.FAIL
If i didnt own both games I wouldnt even bother commenting. SF4's soundtrack sucks compared to Blazblue's. Ryu has like 5 or so clones (4 in SF4) with the only difference being attributes, color scheme, and tier placement. SF4 ruined the tradition by going 2.5D. and yes, KOF totally fucked up.
Soundtrack = Something they will hear all throughout the game. If you want to hear some stupid ass loop throughout all of the game over and over , you're on some strong shit.
BB has a lot of balance since every character is different. Sagat ruins the balance totally by being able to beat almost every other character.
Ryu has 4 clones in SF4. I mean to say that their move lists are almost complete clones, not attributes (stated above).
Listen, I love BlazBlue. It's probably my favorite fighting game, but don't kid yourself. Street Fighter is A LOT more balanced. Nu, Arakune, and Rachel is all you need. In the hands of a skilled player these 3 destroy the rest of the cast. Sagat? No way. He's the best character in SF4, but at least everyone has a chance against him. Try beating Arakune with Tager and she what happens. It's a very good fighting game, but it definitely has balancing issues that I hope they correct in the sequel.
Skilled players can almost always beat eachother in a match at least once, regardless of which character. it's BOSS Nu and BOSS Rachel you need to get mad at. People can spam sagat and believe it or not the only way a can get close to beating him is with Dan.DAN. And the sequel nerfed Nu, Rachel,Arakune, and BUFFED Tager. Well buffeed him even more

lol if a fighting game has a good story, it improves the game. If it has a good soundtrack and voice work, it improves the game. If the game has good graphics, it improves the game. SF4 has good graphics, but the gameplay is too familiar to me (btw i still a noob lol), the soundtrack is unnoticable cuz you hear the fighter more than you hear the music. so BB has all of those rhings above and great gameplay to make it fresh and new.
I'd have to disagree that gameplay is the only thing that matters in fighting games. If that was the case, then we'd all be playing Virtua Fighter 5 which has amazing gameplay and graphics, but no story, and an average soundtrack. No story means the characters have no personality and obviously that matters since Street Fighter and Guilty Gear have overshadowed Virtua Fighter for years even though it probably is the most technical and skill based fighting game series ever created.
"No one cares about the soundtrack in a fighting game"? Have you ever even heard of Guilty Gear? That game changed the ways of fighters by adding a rock soundtrack, something people never expected, but would rather listen to then 16-bit loops, seriously, even though the gameplay is a main factor in a fighting game, anything else added into it wouldn't hinder how it plays out, but add a little style and flair for the people who play it, and make it stand out from generic fighters.
Casual players care about all of those things. Competitive/hardcore players don't.
I want to say "fuck casual players," I really do, but they're the reason SF4 sold so well and also the reason why we're getting another one. That being said, they're also the reason we have DP shortcuts and mash reversals.

The game is extremely well-presented, in terms of animation depth, but the lack of characters seem to be BlazBlue's 'Achile's Heel', if I may.

Not really, the lack of characters make up for it with all of them being virtually diverse from each other in terms of skill and gameplay, it's not it's Achille's Heel, hell, it's not even close to that.

That's where I have to come to disagree with you. It's just me being picky, but I find it agitating it when there's a small group of characters to choose from.
My tastes are warped, I admit. Either way, I'm lovin' this game one way or another, even if it could stand to have a few more characters to choose from.

SF4 is not better than this, and this is not better than SF4. Why? They're different type of fighters, can't compare. It's like comparing Halo with Counter-Strike.

From reading your comment there you obviously do not own 'both' of the games. anyway~
To correct you, SF4 does have a soundtrack, and it's VERY well received as blazblue.
Ryu doesn't actually have clones. (If you actually play street fighter) Ken plays very differently to Ryu.
Graphics doesn't really count, they're both 2D Fighters, both great in their own way.
BB story clearly wins.~

If i didnt own both games I wouldnt even bother commenting. SF4's soundtrack sucks compared to Blazblue's. Ryu has like 5 or so clones (4 in SF4) with the only difference being attributes, color scheme, and tier placement. SF4 ruined the tradition by going 2.5D. and yes, KOF totally fucked up.

Let's see:
No one cares about the soundtrack in a fighting game.
No one care about graphics in a fighting game; even if they do, you're way to angry about cell-shading. Yes, it's called cell-shading you heathen.
BB does have a tier list, just like SF4, you're delusional if you believe every single character but one is balanced.
No single character plays like Ryu. If you actually played the game you'll see how different Ken and Ryu can be.
No one cares about story in the fighting game.

Soundtrack = Something they will hear all throughout the game. If you want to hear some stupid ass loop throughout all of the game over and over , you're on some strong shit.
BB has a lot of balance since every character is different. Sagat ruins the balance totally by being able to beat almost every other character.
Ryu has 4 clones in SF4. I mean to say that their move lists are almost complete clones, not attributes (stated above).

Listen, I love BlazBlue. It's probably my favorite fighting game, but don't kid yourself. Street Fighter is A LOT more balanced. Nu, Arakune, and Rachel is all you need. In the hands of a skilled player these 3 destroy the rest of the cast. Sagat? No way. He's the best character in SF4, but at least everyone has a chance against him. Try beating Arakune with Tager and she what happens. It's a very good fighting game, but it definitely has balancing issues that I hope they correct in the sequel.

Skilled players can almost always beat eachother in a match at least once, regardless of which character. it's BOSS Nu and BOSS Rachel you need to get mad at. People can spam sagat and believe it or not the only way a can get close to beating him is with Dan.DAN. And the sequel nerfed Nu, Rachel,Arakune, and BUFFED Tager. Well buffeed him even more

Graphics make like 25% of a fighting game, so if you want to watch 2 little blurred dots shove eachother, you're on some strong shit.
Story gives the characters personality, instead of being just robots. The only game that's pulled that off is DOA and VF.
And if you counted the characters in SF4 (about like 20 or so), 4 is not a big number of clones.
And I've played the game. Not as good as i thought, but good nontheless

Yes because what I said means I want to have 2 blurred dots on the screen. Way to explode things out of context. I'm glad you like the "you're on some strong shit" phrase though. Keep using it. No one cares about the story except fanboys like you. The only important thing in a fighting game is the gameplay. As long as the other factors don't take away from that, then it doesn't matter.
Lastly, clones = the same. If they're not the same, then they aren't clones. Sorry you're retarded.

lol if a fighting game has a good story, it improves the game. If it has a good soundtrack and voice work, it improves the game. If the game has good graphics, it improves the game. SF4 has good graphics, but the gameplay is too familiar to me (btw i still a noob lol), the soundtrack is unnoticable cuz you hear the fighter more than you hear the music. so BB has all of those rhings above and great gameplay to make it fresh and new.

I'd have to disagree that gameplay is the only thing that matters in fighting games. If that was the case, then we'd all be playing Virtua Fighter 5 which has amazing gameplay and graphics, but no story, and an average soundtrack. No story means the characters have no personality and obviously that matters since Street Fighter and Guilty Gear have overshadowed Virtua Fighter for years even though it probably is the most technical and skill based fighting game series ever created.

That game changed the ways of fighters by adding a rock soundtrack, something people never expected, but would rather listen to then 16-bit loops, seriously, even though the gameplay is a main factor in a fighting game, anything else added into it wouldn't hinder how it plays out, but add a little style and flair for the people who play it, and make it stand out from generic fighters.

Casual players care about all of those things. Competitive/hardcore players don't.
I want to say "fuck casual players," I really do, but they're the reason SF4 sold so well and also the reason why we're getting another one. That being said, they're also the reason we have DP shortcuts and mash reversals.
