@Panda4Cash the z3ro-g has a grayish tone, a slightly updated sensor and it comes with a free game, shattered horizon..
all of this is negligible, if the sentinel is cheaper on your country and you don't plan or already have shattered horizon then get it instead of the z3ro-g..
please tell me if this mouse is better than esport tt black, about the quality i etc, I do not care dpi I use the 4000 dpi, i think about the precision of mouse mobility as eg for FPS games like COD4 Thanks: D
@Deathwish7777777 hehe thanks this mouse looks pretty cool. But i searched online and im in the USA. I only buy stuff from newegg, amazon or any trustworthy sites. I cant find any other websites. Amazon is unavailible and dont have on newegg.
I'm looking for a gaming mouse that is 30$ or below. I know there aren't much but I like to play games like minecraft. Nothing too intense like battlefield or Crysis. Any ideas on any gaming moises that are not easily breakable?
@Panda4Cash Not sure where you live but i think that Sharkoon Fireglider is a good choice, in croatia izs about 20$, laser, weight modification, 6 programable keys and 3600 dpi
the mesh piece above the LED on the top is painted black, and the color wears off to a nasty disgusting rusty look. also the scroll wears out. the LED indicator for your DPI is nice, but it wears off and dead pixels appear after a month. don't get me wrong, it's a great mouse, but just watch out for the things i just mentioned.
STORM Sentinel Advance Gaming Mouse is the worse mouse i have ever own , the mouse wheel is a nightmare to use and feels horrid aiming with this mouse is a joke
it may look pretty but as a gaming mouse its sux's big time 1 out of 10
@ForgottenWaffle465 Yeah pretty much. Like the other guy said, dots per inch. Although you can adjust the sensitivity, it also means the mouse it more accurate, when you move it in small amounts, and overall. So, good mouse?
Ive had this mouse for about 1-1/4yrs, unfortunatley the left click has now developed a fault which now causes me problems (i do a lot of gaming and the left click is essential).
Do i go direct to Coolermaster or the e-tailer i brought it from?
Other than this fault, the mouse has been fantastic for my gaming needs.
@NStorm711 mhhh contact both to be sure... i think shop might be faster to get it replaced, but maybe theyll refuse to handle it since its been a while... if its a good shop, they might still replace it and swap it right there and then :)
ok i just got this mouse BUT!!!!! apparently the mouse is coated with a thin layer of film. This film will tear on the mouse if anything like the tip of a pen touches it. My mouse now has a 1 square centimeter patch where the film came off, and the patch is visibly a different shade of black than the rest of the mouse
@Typhoon10UK Inferno doesnt have the weight system and a different shape, instead it has more programmable buttons... those are the most important differences id say... if you can, give them a try, go to a shop and try them out :)
i have had this mouse for a year now. Absolutely reliable and very stable during most intense mmofps games. The twin lasers help a lot. Only drawback is that the mouse is pretty heavy and i removed all the tuning weights to ease the pain from my right wrist :) The grip is supreme..!!
@Systemhouse33 what mousepad are you using? check the glide pads and maybe replace them or glue on some third party pads? in my experience hard mousepads and clean or fresh third party glide pads make a mouse much easier to move around and ease the strain on your wrist :)
of course you need the mouse pad mine wont work on any surface but one that cost 30 bucks and i have to clean often cause any dirt and your tracking goes for a shit i use my m510 is much better and its wireless
@Theinsaneviking This mouse is mainly, but not limited to palm gripping. I currently own this mouse myself and my personal preference is fingertip/claw grip. Initially it was difficult to adjust to the mouse (largely due to its size) and I even at one point attempted palm gripping with no avail. Literally after 1 or 2 days of playing, I eventually gotten use to the mouse and now I'm claw gripping my way to sexy KDRs. All in all, this is a great mouse with superb ergonomic design.
Love this mouse, definitely one of the best looking on the market to date. Great feel to it, fits my hand perfectly and flows great over my SteelSeries mousepad. A lot of great customizable settings. I Here people all the time saying that this mouse does get a little bit uncomfortable over a long period of time...not sure what mouse they are talking about, I don't feel any of that after hours of use. For sure, one of the smartest decisions I've made in a long time when it comes to peripherals.
I think using eventual claw grip with this mouse will be very hard.. I'm afraid if i buy this mouse i will not be able to get good precision and kills in-game... I can't play with my entire palm flat on the mouse and moving my arm, i have to have my arm pretty still and moving the hand and fingers.
Don't pay attention to the idiots in the comments, it's a great mouse.
The LED's are sick
the DPI sensitivity is amazing for any style of play
the rubberised finish doesn't peel and give great grip
the Teflon feet slide really smooth - there are even spares included if using on rough surface
the software is great - easy to navigate
one downside - perhaps a major one, the mouse is a little uncomfortable for extended use. This may be a good thing as it encourages you to take a break.
@lolimso18 cool, well maybe it depends how big your hand is. I guess people with big hands wouldnt have that downside you're saying :) yea LED is sick, just a display.. =))
I am always pissed of at this new "gaming mice" all the sensors are shit with bugs like jittering and skiping, companies only care about "i have 1milion colors", and why n this world, would you want to add wheights to a mouse that is already overwheighted... the last true gaming mouse, were the razer 3.5G mice, everything after that is shit, even microsoft 10yo 10€ wmo1.1a is better than this new mice.
Mesh can't rust without moisture/water lol. It's not like you're going to dip your mouse into a bath tub full of water. If the rumour is true the chances of rusting are most likely 1 in a million.
I have the mouse (I too get sweaty palms alot, the mesh doesn't rust. I've had the mouse for just under 2 months now and not a single problem with it)
@iluvfatchx depends on an oppinion. I consider that cheater personally, but I am not angry about it, its style of play, there are much worse things than multiple click. su just use it unless server says to dont do so
@MidNiteR32 Pretty much any mouse with sensitivity adjustment should suit your needs--the sniping button on the R.A.T. comes to mind, and pretty much all good gaming mice have some kind of adjustment. The extra buttons may or may not come in handy, I don't know--that really depends on your personal preference. Then you need to decide what base sensitivity you want; this mouse has 5600dpi, which is far more than necessary for everything but first person shooters. 3200 is my personal comfort zone.
This mouse doesn't even work on the steel series i-2 every time you lift it up it stops working for a second. So much for high quality. It does work great on the X Trac Pads Rippper though. Although a bit of bass and u have a small movement
@kingjosh1876 Sentinel. I've had both, and the Sentinel wins in looks, tech, comfortability, and software. Only thing lacking is grooved L/R buttons. Also, it has a braided cable.
ONE OF THE BEST MICE EVER MADE!!! Awesome quality of manufacture, awesome materials, awesome design, awesome driver UI, awesome price. Bought it today for 45 CAD, in Canada Computers. If you see it, buy it. The same mouse of Logitech series will cost you twice as much.
So let me see if I understand this...it has a max acceleration of 50 G's, so if you were in a Jet, going fast enough to generate 50 G's, and you stuck your arm out and shined the mouses laser at the ground, would the laser exist anymore?
I have it. Its a great mouse only problems i have is that the profile button can't be rebound. The other problem SOME people may have is that the two sensors can be a problem if you use a wrist rest and you do some windshield wiper like motions because the mouse will get confused I guess but as long as you keep the mouse pretty straight its perfect. Overall i would recommend this mouse its great. Also it just looks cool =P...
Whats the difference between this and the z3ro G version

@CMStormtv, the mouse comes with a two year warranty, right?
Im under the impression that the first 12 months are with the retailer and the second is with Coolermaster.
Doesnt matter now as i bought the Inferno, :) Not loving it as much as the Sentinel
Maybe i was spoilt with the Sentinel.

If that was real 24 carat gold as I think is implied, it would wear off very quickly if re-plugged a few times.
Of course the simplest answer is the correct one; its not.

I'm not sure if buy this mouse or the razer naga. What would you buy?
Square92 1 year ago
@Square92 The Naga is better for MMO games but Sentinel is better for every other game type.

4000 seems to be the sweet spot for me on a 1080p monitor
BbyTeeDee 2 years ago
5600 is not needed at all. 1800 is plenty
