  • Whats the difference between this and the z3ro G version

  • @Panda4Cash the z3ro-g has a grayish tone, a slightly updated sensor and it comes with a free game, shattered horizon..

all of this is negligible, if the sentinel is cheaper on your country and you don't plan or already have shattered horizon then get it instead of the z3ro-g..

  • Great review dude ! :D

  • is the mouse 139 grams with cord?

  • please tell me if this mouse is better than esport tt black, about the quality i etc, I do not care dpi I use the 4000 dpi, i think about the precision of mouse mobility as eg for FPS games like COD4 Thanks: D

  • @Deathwish7777777 hehe thanks this mouse looks pretty cool. But i searched online and im in the USA. I only buy stuff from newegg, amazon or any trustworthy sites. I cant find any other websites. Amazon is unavailible and dont have on newegg.

  • me want one

  • I'm looking for a gaming mouse that is 30$ or below. I know there aren't much but I like to play games like minecraft. Nothing too intense like battlefield or Crysis. Any ideas on any gaming moises that are not easily breakable?

  • @Panda4Cash A4tech x7

  • @Panda4Cash Not sure where you live but i think that Sharkoon Fireglider is a good choice, in croatia izs about 20$, laser, weight modification, 6 programable keys and 3600 dpi

  • the mesh piece above the LED on the top is painted black, and the color wears off to a nasty disgusting rusty look. also the scroll wears out. the LED indicator for your DPI is nice, but it wears off and dead pixels appear after a month. don't get me wrong, it's a great mouse, but just watch out for the things i just mentioned.

  • @ijoshchang ive been using it for a year now and i have had none of these problems

  • @NubsAhoy idk, maybe it's just me. but really? the led indicator for DPI on the top didn't get any darker?

  • @ijoshchang nope, the indicator is still the same for me. maybe you received a defect.

  • STORM Sentinel Advance Gaming Mouse is the worse mouse i have ever own , the mouse wheel is a nightmare to use and feels horrid aiming with this mouse is a joke

it may look pretty but as a gaming mouse its sux's big time 1 out of 10

  • can someone please help me with clan icon, it's wierd

  • @NoNiceNamesLeft

It's not much in comparaison to other one's ^^

  • @sasukerules01 Oh right. :3 I just got this mouse today, it's brilliant. (:

  • $70 for a mouse... hah!

  • i have a leadership mouse and it costed 3 dollars

  • this mouse looks awesome. im thinking of buying it :3

  • what does DPI mean? >-> Sensetivity right? So.. You can change in-game sensetivity?

  • @ForgottenWaffle465 Yeah pretty much. Like the other guy said, dots per inch. Although you can adjust the sensitivity, it also means the mouse it more accurate, when you move it in small amounts, and overall. So, good mouse?

  • @frogsta360 Thanks. Ahah, I have it. It's a brilliant mouse. And changing colours on it never gets old. xD

  • Thanks man, cool mouse =]

  • removing the weights is hard. I have the mouse

  • how the fuc**** long is the fuc**** wire?

  • how long is the wire?

  • How long is the length of the wire?

  • please help me how do you turn it on

rapid fire on storm inferno i dont; know

  • Your voice is so..... annoying!

  • bad voise lol

  • @TheRoflcopter3000 bad spelling

  • so the question, how the heck do you change the logo in the OLED display?

  • @OptiXDream 4:50

    Oled Upload Logo Photo

    there. :)

  • Anyone else have rust on their Sentinel mouse? Mine is about 3 years old.

  • @CMStormtv, the mouse comes with a two year warranty, right?

Im under the impression that the first 12 months are with the retailer and the second is with Coolermaster.

Doesnt matter now as i bought the Inferno, :) Not loving it as much as the Sentinel

Maybe i was spoilt with the Sentinel.

@axyy1 Glad you like it mate, I personally havnt used SS kit so i cant comment,

When CoolerMaster is this good, why bother?

  • can you guys make a video for the CM storm inferno? please and thanks, im not sure how to choose between these two mouse

  • Comment removed

  • Ive had this mouse for about 1-1/4yrs, unfortunatley the left click has now developed a fault which now causes me problems (i do a lot of gaming and the left click is essential).

Do i go direct to Coolermaster or the e-tailer i brought it from?

Other than this fault, the mouse has been fantastic for my gaming needs.

  • @NStorm711 mhhh contact both to be sure... i think shop might be faster to get it replaced, but maybe theyll refuse to handle it since its been a while... if its a good shop, they might still replace it and swap it right there and then :)

  • @NStorm711 Yes, an epic one. I have it for a month now. Very pleased.. after I switched SteelSeries XAi, CM STORM SENTINEL, A4Tech's crap...

  • how do u make a rapid fire macro? help!

  • I have a mouse, It' s wireless, it has a scroll wheel and two mouse clicks. And I think thats all I need.

  • @joggymac Casualfaggot

  • @Nallez3 lol

  • @Nallez3 CasualNerd

  • @joggymac good for you? whats your point? :D

  • @joggymac Ya but you suck at games rofl.

  • what does he mean by rapid fire? instead of constantly clicking, 1 click fire the weapon fast?

  • @godiluvcss yeah, you click once but the mouse sends a click signal several times.

Its kinda a cheat, but its blocked in competitive gaming and in single player or mp matches with your friends it can be a lot of fun :D

  • i got cooler master pc

  • ok i just got this mouse BUT!!!!! apparently the mouse is coated with a thin layer of film. This film will tear on the mouse if anything like the tip of a pen touches it. My mouse now has a 1 square centimeter patch where the film came off, and the patch is visibly a different shade of black than the rest of the mouse

  • @yuanw1122 please contact our tech support or the shop you bought it from, you should be able to get it replaced :)

  • @yuanw1122

yep, happened to me too, otherwise solid mice

  • Does this have a rapid fire button?if not does anyone know any mouse with a rapid fire button

  • @SitOnMyFaceBookXD it does have a rapid fire button, u can configure it in the software

  • How does this compare to the inferno?

  • @Typhoon10UK Inferno doesnt have the weight system and a different shape, instead it has more programmable buttons... those are the most important differences id say... if you can, give them a try, go to a shop and try them out :)

  • @CMStormtv I would but no big shops have them in store here in the UK. Just the usual, Microsoft, Logitech and Razor mice. :(

  • i have had this mouse for a year now. Absolutely reliable and very stable during most intense mmofps games. The twin lasers help a lot. Only drawback is that the mouse is pretty heavy and i removed all the tuning weights to ease the pain from my right wrist :) The grip is supreme..!!

  • @Systemhouse33 what mousepad are you using? check the glide pads and maybe replace them or glue on some third party pads? in my experience hard mousepads and clean or fresh third party glide pads make a mouse much easier to move around and ease the strain on your wrist :)

  • @CMStormtv im using the gigabyte ghost gaming series.. Unfortunately, i-tech did not have the cm-storm game tactics mouse pad..:(

  • I have that mouse, and I can only recommend it to others!

  • very very very, (1000 years later), very very very nice mouse.lol

  • what would you recommend, the cm storm or the logitech g500?

  • of course you need the mouse pad mine wont work on any surface but one that cost 30 bucks and i have to clean often cause any dirt and your tracking goes for a shit i use my m510 is much better and its wireless

  • @Theinsaneviking This mouse is mainly, but not limited to palm gripping. I currently own this mouse myself and my personal preference is fingertip/claw grip. Initially it was difficult to adjust to the mouse (largely due to its size) and I even at one point attempted palm gripping with no avail. Literally after 1 or 2 days of playing, I eventually gotten use to the mouse and now I'm claw gripping my way to sexy KDRs. All in all, this is a great mouse with superb ergonomic design.

  • Love this mouse, definitely one of the best looking on the market to date. Great feel to it, fits my hand perfectly and flows great over my SteelSeries mousepad. A lot of great customizable settings. I Here people all the time saying that this mouse does get a little bit uncomfortable over a long period of time...not sure what mouse they are talking about, I don't feel any of that after hours of use. For sure, one of the smartest decisions I've made in a long time when it comes to peripherals.

  • I think using eventual claw grip with this mouse will be very hard.. I'm afraid if i buy this mouse i will not be able to get good precision and kills in-game... I can't play with my entire palm flat on the mouse and moving my arm, i have to have my arm pretty still and moving the hand and fingers.

  • Thanks for the review. im going to buy the mouse now. you just showed me that it is the mouse i want!

  • Don't pay attention to the idiots in the comments, it's a great mouse.

    The LED's are sick

the DPI sensitivity is amazing for any style of play

the rubberised finish doesn't peel and give great grip

the Teflon feet slide really smooth - there are even spares included if using on rough surface

the software is great - easy to navigate

one downside - perhaps a major one, the mouse is a little uncomfortable for extended use. This may be a good thing as it encourages you to take a break.

  • @lolimso18 cool, well maybe it depends how big your hand is. I guess people with big hands wouldnt have that downside you're saying :) yea LED is sick, just a display.. =))

  • Razer Deathadder FTW

  • @TheRuoka got it and hated it from day one.

  • I am always pissed of at this new "gaming mice" all the sensors are shit with bugs like jittering and skiping, companies only care about "i have 1milion colors", and why n this world, would you want to add wheights to a mouse that is already overwheighted... the last true gaming mouse, were the razer 3.5G mice, everything after that is shit, even microsoft 10yo 10€ wmo1.1a is better than this new mice.

  • I read that the metal mesh covering the lights can rust...isnt that kinda bad? cause otherwise i would get this mouse

  • @yuanw1122

Mesh can't rust without moisture/water lol. It's not like you're going to dip your mouse into a bath tub full of water. If the rumour is true the chances of rusting are most likely 1 in a million.

  • @Roflmfaooooooo yeah but a lot of people like me tend to sometimes sweat at the palms especially after extended hours of computer use

  • @yuanw1122

I have the mouse (I too get sweaty palms alot, the mesh doesn't rust. I've had the mouse for just under 2 months now and not a single problem with it)

  • Comment removed

  • do they give you this stuff?

to keep and how you d ask for these things?

  • Besides the eye candy tech I say this mouse does look pretty good but the best by far for mulity button mice world is the Razer Naga.

  • @DarkLycanthrope the razer naga is shit

never seen a mouse as uncomfortable as that shit

  • automouses & Fps gun mouse & controllers

    automouse2(dot)com

  • what does rapid-fire do?

  • @arnarXx basically clicks the lmb really fast

  • @arnarXx would rapid fire be considered cheating in FPS especially with meleeing with a knife??

  • @iluvfatchx depends on an oppinion. I consider that cheater personally, but I am not angry about it, its style of play, there are much worse things than multiple click. su just use it unless server says to dont do so

  • made in china....lol

  • Is this mouse good for non-gaming too? I do a lot of video editing/graphics designing/programming, I need a balance of both gaming an non gaming.

  • @MidNiteR32 Pretty much any mouse with sensitivity adjustment should suit your needs--the sniping button on the R.A.T. comes to mind, and pretty much all good gaming mice have some kind of adjustment. The extra buttons may or may not come in handy, I don't know--that really depends on your personal preference. Then you need to decide what base sensitivity you want; this mouse has 5600dpi, which is far more than necessary for everything but first person shooters. 3200 is my personal comfort zone.

  • is this mouse compatible on a toshiba laptop?

  • This mouse doesn't even work on the steel series i-2 every time you lift it up it stops working for a second. So much for high quality. It does work great on the X Trac Pads Rippper though. Although a bit of bass and u have a small movement

  • finally.... gaming mouse~

  • does this make it easier to play fps games please reply

  • @futuregamer24

    Well yeah...

    It's a gaming mouse

But only if you aren't terrible at the game in the first place

(AKA: 12 year old playing mw2)

  • I left 2 of the weights in, I like speed

  • I've got a Coolermaster case with red LED and it fits perfect with this mouse!! :O I gotta buy this!!

    It costs 45 £ or 70 $ on overclockers.co.uk/

  • @DeadMau955 55€ at Finnish jimms pc store i get it to =))

  • IS IT FOR MAC!?

  • @Andres8948 It'll work on a Mac through emulation I think

  • I just brought this along with a razer lycosa & my first ever gaming rig, my friends are saying I should've got a razer naga/mumba...opinions?

Should I have brought a razer instead or?

(My mouse, pc, keyboard & monitor won't arrive until tomorrow)

  • MUST...... HAVE........

  • is the mouse pad included with the mouse as well?

  • would this work with a mac? dont yell at me, i had to buy a mac for the program im studying..

yup would this work with a macbookpro?

  • @reverseperstalsis hopefully not

  • @speeron lol it does! but to use the cd for adjustments i have to run bootcamp. so its a win.

  • @reverseperstalsis good luck gaming on your mac

  • @speeron well its for my desktop but i needed a mouse for my 3d modeling because this thinngs right click doesnt work for the program.

    Great mouse.

  • awsome mouse :) ive got it too and its best mouse ive ever have (some razors and microsoft sidewinder in the wardrobe if you ask)

  • shit.. I remember when my comp had 64kb memory..

  • @kingjosh1876 Sentinel. I've had both, and the Sentinel wins in looks, tech, comfortability, and software. Only thing lacking is grooved L/R buttons. Also, it has a braided cable.

  • can you program the back and forward browser buttons to work with windows 7 magnifier?

  • Great Mouse!

  • which would you say is better, this or the razer deathadder?

  • @t0rk3y where's your proof? i've read many reviews saying it's good.

  • logitech mouse is still the best. they a simple without all does buttoms which i have alot on my keyboard.

  • Cooler Master with the CM STORM Sentinel vs raze mamba

  • This or Logitech G9x?

  • @arnarXx microsoft sidewinder x8 beats both.

  • gayyy

  • @sengaleng88 NO! Your gay, no your gay!

IM NOT GAY, AHHH I AM SO HURT BY YOUR MISSPELLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AWWWWW

  • @JonahHacks You're*

  • @arnarXx You're.... not You're*

  • Lol and where can i get this mousepad?..XD

    it's damn cool :O

  • @d0nSmokyBFH Coolermasters site.

  • I didnt know mathew broderick did reviews lol.

  • Just bougth it and is a great mouse. The profile change tool helps alot.

If you are abot to buy a gaming mouse you should put this on your list.

  • What's the deal with Cooler Master, & why the hell can't I find a US reseller for this mouse?

  • Comment removed

  • @VictusDwayne Newegg(.com) Search COOLER MASTER Sentinel Advance. It's not called the CM Storm on Newegg.

  • storm series = great

  • whats rapd fire ?

  • ONE OF THE BEST MICE EVER MADE!!! Awesome quality of manufacture, awesome materials, awesome design, awesome driver UI, awesome price. Bought it today for 45 CAD, in Canada Computers. If you see it, buy it. The same mouse of Logitech series will cost you twice as much.

    5/5, GooD JOB COOLER MASTER.

  • Excellent review !! nice mouse from coolermaster. and the price of this mouse is very affordable compare to others mouse in this range.

  • Excellent review, very informative, helped me make up my mind, and decide to buy it. Good stuff \m/

  • I Just Wondering How Low Can The Dpi Level Go. I am About To Buy It.

  • So let me see if I understand this...it has a max acceleration of 50 G's, so if you were in a Jet, going fast enough to generate 50 G's, and you stuck your arm out and shined the mouses laser at the ground, would the laser exist anymore?

  • Dpi 5600 Holy Shit.

  • *drooooooool*

  • If that was real 24 carat gold as I think is implied, it would wear off very quickly if re-plugged a few times.

Of course the simplest answer is the correct one; its not.

  • do some1 how to turn on rapid fire on the mouse ? I cant do it :(

  • Sup Ferris Bueller!?

  • @benatpc lol!

  • does the scroll have tilt function?

    the pad comes free right?

  • @twinax101 no tilt. but the features make up for that. i just got mine, love it!

  • No thanks i'll stick with my Logitech G9

  • lol hot voice ;)

    thx for the review

  • You can get this for $50 on Amazon now I think.

  • I'm not sure if buy this mouse or the razer naga. What would you buy?

  • @Square92 The Naga is better for MMO games but Sentinel is better for every other game type.

  • I'm using this mouse right now,seriously!

  • @RATSHADY woop woop, same

  • this or x8?

  • @nikosyv I live in the UK and this is just over £10 cheaper than the microsoft x8, good review and a really nice mouse

  • @nikosyv This mouse is way better than the x8 mine broke in 8months, Get this one!

  • I have it. Its a great mouse only problems i have is that the profile button can't be rebound. The other problem SOME people may have is that the two sensors can be a problem if you use a wrist rest and you do some windshield wiper like motions because the mouse will get confused I guess but as long as you keep the mouse pretty straight its perfect. Overall i would recommend this mouse its great. Also it just looks cool =P...

  • could some smart guy tell me exactly how the rapid fire mode works?

  • does this mouse always come with the mouse pad or did he get it coz hes special?

  • @JOEWAGH

Coz he's special, nah it's just so they get coverage, they don't supply the mouse pad

  • i just got this mouse today

  • Any bad things about the mouse?

  • I get enemies asses whopped with 2500dpi... jeezz 5600 woudld be apocalypse.

  • Does anyone recommend this for FPS?

  • 4000 seems to be the sweet spot for me on a 1080p monitor

  • 5600 is not needed at all. 1800 is plenty
