Update, i hung out with him again with down. Kirk is such a badass guy. We spent prolly 15 mins comparing tattoos cuz he just had giant Iron maiden Eddie put on his leg. Shit was pretty fucking sweet. Down are very cool with there fans ive noticed. Well except phil. Hell make you wait around.
Crowbar still havent gotten the credit they deserve. They are a great fucking band. Kirk Windstein has a great riff-style to his playing, like Tony Iommi in a lot of ways. Now normally he has this great voice which sounds like he is in pure agony, but on the Live With Full Force DVD (shown here) his vocals were a little off that day. The music was still top notch but he was struggling a little, but in all fairness it WAS over seas so he was probably exhausted, not to mention this was during DOWN
fuck man, what happened to heavy, badass music and real, badass motherfuckers? All there is now is a bunch of emo fags and metal wannabe's, with the exception of a few bands, but jesus h. we need more music like this.
