a couple of things the one kernal panic ( for a windows machine running mac anyway) theres an iso to get it to get past that sorry forget used it once before didnt like mac and windows is usually on the slow side for me so i currently dual boot ubuntu and windows 7 ( and this could b the reason for the slt at one point there for bout a month try booted windows 8 ( another sidenote sorry windows 8 not all programs are compatible with the newsest quite yet like itunes wouldnt connect to my iphone

majority of "crashes" in all hardware, regardless of OS is old and bad hardware. If your ram is old, get it tested and replaced. Video ram can go bad too. CPUs and GPUs are prone to overheating and damage. Any hardware over 2 years old is subject to this. Show me a mac or a PC less than a year old and see if it still crashes like this. The only thing about windows are malware that can make systems unrealiable while the hardware is perfectly fine.
Well i wouldnt fully agree with that. My windows vista desktop crashed when i plugged in my webcam. Im not joking. I now have a macbook and it hasent crashed.
It's cause you probably bent the USB port while plugging it in, or tried plugging it in the wrong way and then it just short circuited and the PC crashed.

I used both Mac and PC, yeah in you work in IT - you know eveything crashes - but this thing where Apple users default to saying their windows machines crashes and mac don't is of course annoying - what's more annoying is when they have their imac fixed 3 times in 2 years and get a repair bill of 1000 bucks and have apple care they feel good knowing it was covered, well it's was broken and what happens after the third year. No access door to an imac hard drive is beyond words. Go apple.
ive been using vista + win7 now since 2006 and never crashed on its own accord , only crashed due to 1 bad NIC driver ,( vista gave me a download link for new driver that fixed it str8 away ) and only BSOD's during extensive overclocking procedures ( user fault ) , since macs is made by apple and so are the drivers etc , it embarrasing they still crash
it's impossible to create the perfect computer that never crashes. every computer can crash eventually. i've seen that macs crash much much less than pc's though.

Not to say OS X is inferior to windows in terms of:
-virus protection
-graphics
-User interface
-business solutions
-programs available

@Ucsemis oh no they dont, explain me having a 12 year old mac, osx 10.4, no crashes. Macs dont have virus protection cause they don't need protection, their is programs available, allot actually, buisnesses use macs, schools do, i wouldnt be suprised if microsoft used macs to built windows since they can't stop making shit, Macs have plenty of graphic power for me, their is entertainment, Heard of itunes before? I know macs arent available to any hardware except RAM and HDD, but who cares?

@Alxmir23 i did say macs dont crash, I meant macs dont crash if it isnt fucked with, but they crash cuase people fuck with stuff like you said, and people fiddle with the hardware. Plus macs are still built in china, Designed in the US but still built china, Pc where designed and built in china. mac os isnt an os to be fucked with, where windows you can edit all of the registry you want and it will still work.

Windows is awsome, if there is a problem with the os than you can re-install windows via the bios, withought starting windows. Macs are not able to do this. Macs are so restricted, its like steve jobs put parental controls for your mac.

I used both Mac and PC, yeah in you work in IT - you know eveything crashes - but this thing where Apple users default to saying their windows machines crashes and mac don't is of course annoying - what's more annoying is when they have their imac fixed 3 times in 2 years and get a repair bill of 1000 bucks and have apple care they feel good knowing it was covered, well it's was broken and what happens after the third year. No access door to an imac hard drive is beyond words. Go apple.

ive been using vista + win7 now since 2006 and never crashed on its own accord , only crashed due to 1 bad NIC driver ,( vista gave me a download link for new driver that fixed it str8 away ) and only BSOD's during extensive overclocking procedures ( user fault ) , since macs is made by apple and so are the drivers etc , it embarrasing they still crash
