  • There's such a thing called a kernel panic, it's OS X's equivilant to a blue screen of death. Macs do crash macfags. :|

  • apple says "macs dont crash" to get money, fooling people thinking that unix systems such as mac os x dont crash at all, but they do.

  • a couple of things the one kernal panic ( for a windows machine running mac anyway) theres an iso to get it to get past that sorry forget used it once before didnt like mac and windows is usually on the slow side for me so i currently dual boot ubuntu and windows 7 ( and this could b the reason for the slt at one point there for bout a month try booted windows 8 ( another sidenote sorry windows 8 not all programs are compatible with the newsest quite yet like itunes wouldnt connect to my iphone

  • @nathanac2013 but over all there a way to fix that at least if it were on a windows machine runnin osx

  • Have they took a Virus vaccine apple gives every new system

  • I feel sorry for the people who bought the defective MacBook from 08. And I've used many macs - only one of them crashed - because it overheated :3

  • When did they day that? I'm serious. They've never said Macs don't crash. I really don't like how people like you just totally hate macs. PC's crash too, but just pointing things out like this is just kind of low. Macs have a really good track record. Especially with film studios. I'm 100% positive they would choose something more reliable so they would have more uptime and save money. Macs and PC's are both great in their own right. I have never had a Kernel Panic or crash of any kind on mine.

  • @weinerschnitzelboy there is a book at my school that says macs just don't crash, they can't, they just work, JA, JA, JA,

  • Nothing crashes if you use it well.

  • @BlaZfy I thought macs were made to be easy to use... Not on the verge of crashing if you don't "use it well"

  • @wdjclash +1

  • I've been running W7 ever since the beta, it hasn't crashed on me once except whenever I made it crash by overheating my laptop when I overclocked it, for that matter, I didn't have Vista crash on me either.

All the crashing crap is a fanboy speculation, that's how people that bought overpriced Apple's products justify the amount of money that they wasted.

This isn't 1990 anymore, all major OS's are more than stable for your needs, idiots.

  • @str1ka1 Actually i have had many problems with the school computers. As a matter of fact. I had really just been sitting there and it crashed. Not to mention the other time where i was carrying the laptop and it droppend 1 ft and the HD broke physically on it. I have had many Hardware issues on the computer. I really dont see how i was being arrogant. You have a point about the short circut or whatever but i really am not arrogant when it comes to computers.

  • @dantheiphoneman

Well there you go then, school computers. We all know they literally suck and are cluttered with crap, why do you expect them to perform as good as someones personal computer? A lot of people use them, and they're probably very outdated.

And the HDD breaking, it's your fault for dropping it. You are clearly arrogant because you find the most narrow minded reasons to blame an OS when the fault is clearly the hardware.

Besides you HAVE to be arrogant to waste money on a mac.

  • @str1ka1 Not really, the strap on the case snapped (it is crappy) and it fell and the HD broke. Not my fault at all. I dont blame XP at all. As a matter of fact, XP is one of my favorite OS'es. I dont hate it at all. I hate windows vista and 7. They are slow naturally. (Past experience). Also i dont just prefer Mac. I also like to use many Linux ranges. Though gentoo is aweful. Look, the point is. They are crap. The wifi card always breaks and everything. Last, I personally like macs. Mac OSX :)

  • Comment removed

  • @webchar People like you make us Mac users look retarded

  • @slyspy70 what are you taking about i never even commented anything

  • @webchar Bullshit you removed your comment >.<

  • you would not have that problem with Ubuntu

  • @tooturbugg20 unless you made a mistake, but then it's your own fault. that's just how linux is.

  • Vista craches every 2 hours if you don't shut your computer off every day. I haven't turned off my mac in months and it's running perfectly.

  • @nicdem25

    vista huh? xD

  • @nicdem25 in other words you do not understand windows 101, windows ALWAYS releases in a win-fail-win-fail pattern. xp was in the win, vista was obvious fail, 7 was win again, 8 failes in the fail itself so at least it's failing at the right place.

besides, your problem may well be faulty hardware, or windows unrelated software.

  • @krypet007 Yes, I don't care about windows as an OS, I'm talking about PCs all together. As you can see, macs are more stable because they have good hardware and software. Plus Apple had all wins until the Lion fail, which, is just a feature fail, it is just as stable as previuse versions. Windows might be stable, but if the computer isn't, the PC isn't.

  • man, imagine you the leader of a big company, like apple

and imagine you sells notebooks TO THE ENTIRE WORLD

do you really think ANY COPY will crash?

you just got unlucky there, im sorry

  • I've done a lot of PC and Mac hardware, and let me tell you, some of the Mac components are sooo cheap.

  • @Tasbih08087 I mean I still have a Mac. Failed usage.

  • I had a Mac mini for about 5 years and it NEVER crashed. I have a Vista computer for 4 years and it crashes sometimes.

  • @Tasbih08087 vista <--- I'd say you don't deserve to use windows, if that's your point of complaint.

  • They never said that they never crash, they just crash less than Windows computers. It seems like yours might have some problem with it, cause a Mac that's running fine barely crashes. I don't even remember a time when my 2005 iMac G5 crashed.

  • my school mac crashed

  • @JoanJettforever They is what they get for putting crap on it

  • apple doesn't care what you think it all about money for them

  • obviusly a mac user will never complain even if his mac explodes ,my gf got angry at me after installing a torrent client in her mac, she said heyyy what have u done to aby (her mac) is soo slow, even when she uninstalled

  • @wu999b what were you installing stuff on her computer for?

  • No they don't.

  • flashing light = kernel panic

  • Comment removed

  • lol who buys a 2,000 dollar mac that is the slowest machine in the world or you can buy an 800$ alienware m11x that is fast and actually runs every game silly apple fanboys apple users just cant admit that macs are over priced and are super slow

  • Why the keyboards are so small!

I love my old laptop hp compaq nc6230

  • Apple never said Macs dont crash

  • majority of "crashes" in all hardware, regardless of OS is old and bad hardware. If your ram is old, get it tested and replaced. Video ram can go bad too. CPUs and GPUs are prone to overheating and damage. Any hardware over 2 years old is subject to this. Show me a mac or a PC less than a year old and see if it still crashes like this. The only thing about windows are malware that can make systems unrealiable while the hardware is perfectly fine.

  • @MsHUGSaLOT

one probleum with your statment... mac dosnt let you change hardware from factory and they make all the drivers.

  • @TheC1c2c3c4c exactlly. i can show you plenty of 2 year old PC hardware that flakes out also. most of the time it is due to fans dying or RAM dying.

  • Well i wouldnt fully agree with that. My windows vista desktop crashed when i plugged in my webcam. Im not joking. I now have a macbook and it hasent crashed.

  • @dantheiphoneman

It's cause you probably bent the USB port while plugging it in, or tried plugging it in the wrong way and then it just short circuited and the PC crashed.

There's no cure for being arrogant.

  • My pc is 13 years old with XP NOOOOOO Blue screen,

have no mac though, i wish i had......=(

  • No OS is perfect people. Mac in general is less buggy but PC is more buggy but can be used for more things. Scouring the internet for every video of a Mac failing and then saying that macs suck is almost pointless. Apple can sometimes be arrogant but they do have good reasons to be arrogant.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheC1c2c3c4c Yes I guess it's all about experience. But I'm not trying to start an argument here I'm just saying that unix based operating systems are generally less buggy. Windows computers come unreliable when theres a bad third party driver of a virus of some sort. I personally am a fan of both.

  • well, it isnt so scary like Wins stupid BSOD

  • my mac has never "crashed" the apps on it have.. but never a BSOD like windblows.. and my linux box is even 10000 times better

  • I have an iMac G3 has crashed cause some f-tard put limewire on it. I removed, HASNT CRASHED!

  • @dantheiphoneman

yes but windows crashes too because of crappy software, without any external software windows wouldn't crash too

  • you are so stupid i have used macs all my life as long as you dont fuck around with the software the operating System and mods they work fine i have never had my mac crash on me and i have had just about every kind of mac there is

    for example

    Pro Mac NEVER CRASHED

Imac 27" Still have and works great

    Emac (MY Server Never Crashed)

    iMac g3 Never Crashed

So grow up suck bill gateses dick and learn how to use a mac dipshit

ALL COMPUTERS CRASH AT SOME POINT SO DONT PUT YOUR HOPES IN WINDOWS ASS

  • you are so stupid i have used macs all my life as long as you dont fuck around with the software the operating System and mods they work fine i have never had my mac crash on me and i have had just about every kind of mac there is

  • Dude, look at it this way. Mac, good software that comes with it. PC, for gaming and people who cant afford other OS's. Linux, for work and people who love penguins.

  • Of course it crashes. It is an operating system just like windows or anything else.

  • My family bought a mac, and until I upgraded it to Snow Leopard from Leopard, I spent half of my time force quitting safari. My Windows 7 laptop only crashes on 2 occasions; extended use of my 3rd party internet browser and using ITUNES!

  • so I should expect 2 years from my 2011 mbp?

  • @xXTurdSandwitchXx no this guy dose not know what he is saying my mac book pro has lated my for 5 years i recently bought a new one and it runs like a leopard

    MAC IS GREAT

  • Just like Steve Jobs...Macs DIE!!!!

  • Mac crash like any other computer. Just the fanboys spread the bullshit that they don't crash. OS X is Unix based, and Unix crashes like anything else.

  • Mac crashed? Don't worry mates... You are all cool just for paying 2500$.

  • Computers can be produced problematic. But usually the problem in humans. Machines may be distorted, human intervention is more perishable. For this reason, super-computer, even if the degradation of a human uses it wrong is easy. Do not deteriorate the machine. Macintosh's hard to be disrupted machine.

  • yes, with all computers there will be some computers that have defects due to the way the certain computer was made. However, macs have a less than one percent failure rate which is much better than windows. That is what they are trying to say. And with all macs, you get a one year warranty to fix such issues. Your problem would be present by this one year date

  • Well macbook's crash too but not as much as PC does xD

  • all these problems aren't that bad, they are easily fixable.

  • Those macs are old and not updated... Fix it noob

  • @ddaavvaa774 THis video was made in 2009. hence when the macbook pro shown in the video was made.

  • SHUT UP AND ENJOY THE KERNEL PANIC

  • Notice ALL of the faulty macs are LAPTOPS. But I do like laptops...

  • @DSboy64 Notice how blind you are, 4:10-5:10

  • @StepTowardsLight Notice how smart-mouthed you are.

  • @DSboy64 Well, you put emphasis on the word "All". I get your drift though. Every single other one was a laptop. So, retract your claws, tiger.

  • The only reason why Windows crashes is because of third party faulty hardware.

  • LOL. Windows has the Blue Screen of Death and MAC has the BLACK Screen of Death. Sorry for my bad englisch.

  • @crismairo You forgot aboud Beach Ball of Death. Lesser way of Mac bluescreen

  • my netbook is only crashing if i leave it on for too long

(too long=+100hours) cuz then the ram is full what is normal for a netbook with 1Gb

  • They never said that!

  • your windows 7? Do you thing that is impresive!? My windows VISTA with 4 years old!!! bsod = 0 times;

    full crases = 0; times;

    small crashes = 20

  • Apple fans are right! They don't get the BSOD. but they crash.... very hard

  • 5:13 he is the best!

  • I only Crash..... Because i Have a Crappy Video Card, AND also, I Tried using a WHOLE bunch of Nukes in Gmod And THEN i had BSOD

  • anon lol

  • Vista'd.

  • macs don't crash dumbass

  • @JDMowerGuy1998 keep on dreaming, macs crash even more than PCs because people who use macs are computer noobs so they simply crash them

Not to say OS X is inferior to windows in terms of:

    -virus protection

    -graphics

    -User interface

    -business solutions

    -programs available

    -enetertainment

    -almost everything else

  • @Ucsemis oh no they dont, explain me having a 12 year old mac, osx 10.4, no crashes. Macs dont have virus protection cause they don't need protection, their is programs available, allot actually, buisnesses use macs, schools do, i wouldnt be suprised if microsoft used macs to built windows since they can't stop making shit, Macs have plenty of graphic power for me, their is entertainment, Heard of itunes before? I know macs arent available to any hardware except RAM and HDD, but who cares?

  • @JDMowerGuy1998 ya they do,i saw a moron in my computer class make it go blue screen of death

  • @Alxmir23 cause hes a moron, and it sounds like windows with a blue screen to me.

  • @JDMowerGuy1998 nah,apple computer

that guy became know as the guy who fucked up a mac, people didnt believe until they saw the pictures (that people took because they didnt believe it and wanted to have proof)

mac can crash,in the hands of morons, especially those who fiddle with the values because think can read and convert binaries, need more than that to do it right

  • @Alxmir23 i did say macs dont crash, I meant macs dont crash if it isnt fucked with, but they crash cuase people fuck with stuff like you said, and people fiddle with the hardware. Plus macs are still built in china, Designed in the US but still built china, Pc where designed and built in china. mac os isnt an os to be fucked with, where windows you can edit all of the registry you want and it will still work.

  • @JDMowerGuy1998 thats why i mainly use windows

its not the best but you can tweak it at your hearts content

if your learning about computers and fucking around with hexadecimal values, windows is good

like the icons,a month ago i started changing their values for fun, changing .dll files for custom oned

  • @Alxmir23 i use windows cuase its all i can afford lol. I might get ubuntu and see how that works

  • @JDMowerGuy1998 ubuntu is good too

u might want to use it with virtual box before using it as your main os

  • @Alxmir23 ok

  • @JDMowerGuy1998 What do you call that.

  • @cokefan3 i call "that" some morons that fake, and fuck with the binaries and regestry, plus people who switch form windows, ubuntu, to mac they dont know how to use macs and fuck it up however I know how to use macs and i never had a mac crash, neither windows, Unless virus

  • @JDMowerGuy1998 What do you call all the other peeps getting the same thing?

  • @cokefan3 computer noobs :P

  • @JDMowerGuy1998 but isn't a mac suppose to be easy to use?

  • @cokefan3 macs arent easy to use especially to people who used windows their whole life

  • @JDMowerGuy1998 but the advertisement said...

  • @cokefan3 fuck the adds

  • @JDMowerGuy1998 They were easy in OS 9 version. But now they are just UNIX with diffrent desktop menager. Painfull truth... I am using sometimes FreeBSD running MAC software. For free. That Apple has a big worm inside.

  • @t1czer true dat

  • I've had windows seven for 6 months. Only crashed once. Just once.

  • That Macbook Pro is fucked O_O

  • MacBook and PowerBooks are two different things your captions near the end are wrong!

  • That mac got techno'd

  • @Codeythesilent I don't have one!

  • They actually aren't crashed. Thats before Apple Fanboys start hate replies at me.

  • Macs are over priced crap and they make their crap look SOO fancy. I like Windows better.

  • "Macs can't crash" sure, cover your asses to keep your cash

  • It is a cernal panic

    Send it to apple

  • See, this is why building your own "PC" is sometimes easier to service yourself (if you are experienced). That's why I love PC, but I love Macs running on my PC because Windows is sluggish.

  • macbook pro looks like that?

  • lol vista inspirat sound on windows xp ;)

  • Windows and Linux are equal I'd say. Macs can smd.

  • Windows is awsome, if there is a problem with the os than you can re-install windows via the bios, withought starting windows. Macs are not able to do this. Macs are so restricted, its like steve jobs put parental controls for your mac.

  • Mac fanboys just can't take the truth that Windows PCs are better!

  • Oh the irony... people like you try making fun of mac owners, and yet you wasted the money to buy one for yourself. fail.

  • Who the hell said they don't crash? Mac's crash... not as much as windows. Linux crashes..... not as much as OS X. Im triple booting

  • lol apple has never said it couldn't crash they said that its just not likely too as much

  • i have first gen macbook pro, still running strong! no crashes at all

  • Uh hello, call apple that is not supposed to happen lol

  • serves them right for not buying a normal PC

  • My iBook g4 can has no crash.It`s from 2002 :P

  • @TmXGolden My 1999 laptop with windows 2000 works fine.

    Your point?

  • whats the name of the sound when the video start ?

  • @Caohao96 Its Windows Vista beta sound theme

  • @oOADROo its look like the begining of eZ-Flash card for ds. not for windows vista.

  • @oOADROo there are 3 reasons why macs crash 1 too much shit on your comp 2 virus deleting something that your using at the moment 3useing your fucking mac so much that your not giving it a rest talk about limeware and porno

  • @Trirail If you think about it, writing a virus that causes a computer to die is very stupid, because then it would lessen its chances of spreading itself exponentially...... So viruses that harm hardware to a level are pretty damn rare. Can you name some examples?

  • They might not get as many viruses it's cause all the people don't want to damage 5% of the computer population

  • Macs are for people that cannot take care of a computer. If it crashes on you then your a complete dumbass. But then again you have a PC and you said it never crashes on you. Then your still a very smart person

Apple is the dumbass in this case.....

  • Ooh, my! I've had zero problems with both of my imacs. Yet, i'm an apple and a PC lover. I've never owned a newer apple product before.

  • @FanOfVacuums2 and i've had no trouble with PCs that didn't include humans (mainly lack of information)

  • My mac just had a seizure. It started flashing black at the bottom of the screen and it moved moved upwards. has anyone had that?

  • The old macs crashed a lot but the new macs supposedly are not supposed to, thats what people say, i have a macbook pro 1,100 dollars and all of my apps including safari crash, a little later and now my computer doesnt even start up, thanks apple -.-

  • Old MacBook Pros had A LOT of problems... As you can see.

But new ones are very good, and REALLY don't crash...

Older ones too... I got a new MacBook Air, and I had an imac g3.

    None of them has crashed...

  • MACS SUCK

  • @Crashbndcoot121 what do have to support that O_O

  • @Dinobot2468 Horrible gaming, horrible security, horrible everything. Look it up. OS X got hacked in less than 5 seconds two months ago.

  • @Crashbndcoot121 thats strange cuz macs cant get viruses, and computers arnt meant ti play games you know, they just happen to be able to. an the mac is very good at playing games.

  • @Dinobot2468 Oh, but macs DO get viruses. Sorry, but it's true. Look up "Pwn2Own 2011". OS X got hacked in less than 5 seconds.

  • @Crashbndcoot121 im sure windows can be hacked by many people in 5 seconds.

  • @Dinobot2468 Nah, Windows 7 has MS Security Essentials, making it nearly impossible to break into it. Nice try.

  • @Crashbndcoot121 actually iv seen loads of windows 7s hacked. my friends 7 laptop was hacked, all his stuff was stolen and his computer broke.

  • @Dinobot2468 "and his computer broke". WTF? It's virtually impossible for a virus to do any type of physical change to the computer outside of the operating system. Yeah, whatever.

  • @Crashbndcoot121 it make the operating system crash. and it wouldnt switch on

  • @Dinobot2468 So you run System Restore from the Windows 7 disk to easily fix the problem. Nothing new here.

  • @Crashbndcoot121 at least the mac doesnt need to do that :P i dont want to argue, i have a pc and a mac and i love them both. i play games on pc and go on mac for internet and the features and stuff cuz its really fast.

  • @Dinobot2468 Um...No. Mac has to do that AS WELL. A mac virus would completely ruin your mac, making you have to reinstall OS X. And who said we're arguing? We're having a debate..

  • @Crashbndcoot121 same thing :P

  • I used both Mac and PC, yeah in you work in IT - you know eveything crashes - but this thing where Apple users default to saying their windows machines crashes and mac don't is of course annoying - what's more annoying is when they have their imac fixed 3 times in 2 years and get a repair bill of 1000 bucks and have apple care they feel good knowing it was covered, well it's was broken and what happens after the third year. No access door to an imac hard drive is beyond words. Go apple.

  • @theapeman10 Every computer can crash, even the most sophisticated one.

  • ive been using vista + win7 now since 2006 and never crashed on its own accord , only crashed due to 1 bad NIC driver ,( vista gave me a download link for new driver that fixed it str8 away ) and only BSOD's during extensive overclocking procedures ( user fault ) , since macs is made by apple and so are the drivers etc , it embarrasing they still crash

  • lol the last guy did the thing everyone has to do xD

  • 2 much gay porn

  • it's impossible to create the perfect computer that never crashes. every computer can crash eventually. i've seen that macs crash much much less than pc's though.

  • @hellsing436 MY WINDOWS 7 has crashed : 0 times.

  • @spifffeh not yet. XD haha well under certain circumstances, any operating system will crash. windows 7 is fucking beast though, its really hard to crash

  • @spifffeh My Windows Vista is as good as F*CK

  • @spifffeh Windows 7 here for 3 years now. No crash.

  • @spifffeh same here
