Yeah, I can't see Champ on this list at all. Most of your picks are good, but I'd have to (regrettably, because I don't like the guy. He kind of makes me sick) put Deion at number 2. Also, Lott was great for 3 years at CB, but he was moved to corner in '84 because he wasn't that fast. He was fast like Singletary was fast:sideline to sideline, but not "cover" fast like Brown, Dieon, Eric Wright (a truly great one who isn't on your list) and others of that "type".

First off, learn the difference between a cornerback (on the corners) and a safety. Secondly I am a broncos fan, but Darrell Green is far better than Champ Bailey. Champ has been lacking the speed and cover abilities of his younger years, but Green never had that problem. Its all good I expect a list like this from a ten year old.

2.Night Train Lane This is very arguable thoug. I love both of these guys to death, but their play styles (no, not sanders' boasting) are polar opposites. Night Train went for the hits, which is what most Defensive players should do. And he sure did master the hit. Deion, on the other hand, mastered the interception, mobility and speed that any offensive CB could only dream to attain. Deion is the god of Counter-offensive cornerbacks, while Night Train the god of D Cbs.

Most of you guys are bugging over this list. Deion is in the right place because he was known a lot more for his return skills than his defense. Also he could not tackle nearly as well as a single person on this list. Stop hating on Champ too. He has posted 2 seasons without allowing TD's 1 of which he allowed only four catches period. The only reason Deion currently has more picks is because he played longer and because many teams knew he wasnt a good tackler and would often test him.

Get Lott off the list, he is predominantly a safety. It's a pretty solid list. It shouldnt go by stats it should go by shutdown. I love Night Train being #1! I've never seen a player stumble at the point of contact more than Deon, but Bailey definitely shouldn't be rated higher than a lot of these players as Deon shouldn't. and certainly not higher than Mike Haynes and Rod Woodson.

blount is the best easy!hell they changed the rules because nobody could catch a pass against him! ronnie lott was a safety , & deon was afraid of contact or he could have been better. darrell green was top 5 but # 1, i have seen all of these guys play & blount was # 1 , mike haynes was # 2, everyone else was way back.

Most of you guys are bugging over this list. Deion is in the right place because he was known a lot more for his return skills than his defense. Also he could not tackle nearly as well as a single person on this list. Stop hating on Champ too. He has posted 2 seasons without allowing TD's 1 of which he allowed only four catches period. The only reason Deion currently has more picks is because he played longer and because many teams knew he wasnt a good tackler and would often test him.

Primetime ain't #1 all time. I put Deion at #2. He even said so himself that Night Train Lane should be ahead of him on nfl.com @3:19. Night Train as a rookie had 16 picks and later played WR like Deion. Coaches would tell their QB's to not throw the ball that Night Train Lane was on. Primetime #2

#57 was that your # on the basketball team? Top 10 cornerbacks? How did all the safties get on this list and how does LESTER HAYES NOT make this list. He was the best college SS in 77 and MADMAN MADDEN puts him out on da corner .. where he becomes the best ever !!! @reggiewhite01 There have been others to come along and have a year or two like that as well or similar but never made the top ten! If he holds out and then say a lockout comes thats two years of his career he wasted! He needs a few more before he gets put up there or past some legends! He will be there though if hejust plays, I agree out there today him and that dude from Oakland could easily be top ten material.

Get Lott off the list, he is predominantly a safety. It's a pretty solid list. It shouldnt go by stats it should go by shutdown. I love Night Train being #1! Everyone who thinks Champ doesn't belong doesn't know about shutdown corners. They must see picks and think good, they must be Antonio Cromartie fans. lol. Champ belongs. Deon should be #2.... Charles Woodson should be 10 since Lott shouldn't be here. In a couple more season I think Nnamdi Asomugha makes the list, shutdown to the max.

Get Champ bailey the fuck off the list he doesn't belong. ESPECIALLY in the top 5 and ABOVE Deion Sanders!!! Prime time is the greatest Corner to have ever BREATHED. Herb Adderley was the only one I agree with. If you're going to put a modern day Corner on that list it'd god damn better be Charles Woodson. and speaking of woodsons, put Rod higher up. And Ronnie Lott was very good, but he was a safety most of the time so it's not fair to compare his stats with the others.

Night Train started with the Rams where as a rookie he set the NFL record for interceptions at 14 which still stands today.
Deon was at best a nickel back because he was non-existent on running plays. I've never seen a player stumble at the point of contact more than Deon, but Bailey definitely shouldn't be rated higher than a lot of these players as Deon shouldn't. and certainly not higher than Mike Haynes and Rod Woodson.
