  • My mum sister and I each have a Morgan. two are still 2 year olds, but My mums is going to be ready to start training come July! They are an AMAZING breed. We got them from a breeder in Alberta who has introduced new colours to the breed. They are super calm and willing!

  • I really admire this breed. Excellent example of teamwork. Good job :)

  • morgans are awesome. why does mine have to be so lazy XD

  • What would you do if your riding him and he decides to liy down?My horse rolled in water with me in October.

  • He looks like the more 'modern' Morgans you see now.

My mare doesn't look anything like him, she's a foundation Morgan too, there's a huge visible difference between foundations and other Morgans.

So of course it looks like a Saddlebred, it has saddlebred in it. How do I know that? Neither him or his dam or sire are on the list of foundation Morgans so he has saddlebred in him.

  • Lol WTF! <3 I always wanted a Morgan horse, mostly cause my last name is morgan, and how weird is that, My horses name is Royal :P Show name is Run with Me Royal. tho lol love their tails !! but id never trade my boy for any morgan horse :P <3

  • what a beautiful horse!

  • That guy needs to lose some weight, and the horse might be able to carry him.

  • cool!

  • That's kinda abusive he didn't want to do the tricks it looks cool but what do u think the horse is think?? What if you were in his shoes?? Would u like it?

  • @smalthausvgsd

I own this horse's son. It's the work ethic of the Morgan. He loves his job. You can see clearly if that if Royal wanted to get up, he has the capability to. He is in no way restrained. Plus he doesn't go out and practice this. Mostly he herds cattle and is used as a stud, so another testimony to this amazing young (only about 6 or 7 in the video) is that he remembers all this from training way back when he was 3. Obviously, nobody knows what the horse is thinking--

  • then u need to put a video of him doing all that not just playing dead

  • There's nothing wrong with giving a horse a job to do. Training is a great way to develop a raport with your horse. It helps develop trust and eliminates boredom. For people who think it's cruel, you must realize that a person can't force a 1,000 lb. animal to do something it doesn't want to do or isn't willing to do. It's more cruel to just let a horse out to pasture and do nothing with it than to interact with him and give his mind and body something to do. Morgan's typically love to work.

  • i have 3 Morgans. but i hate when people do this to horses. i dont think people should make horses do tricks, i think its wrong, sure its good 4 the entertainment but i hate it. just my thought.

  • er, looks more like a saddlebred than a morgan

    D=

  • @tripxandxslide This horse does not at all look like a saddlebred it is definatly a morgan. Learn your breeds.

  • @HarlemsBoomerangLvr oh i work with morgans every day. they just happen to foundation morgans, and look much different than this horse. Something like 60% of morgans now have saddlebred blood. might have something to do with it?

  • @tripxandxslide

If you did any studying on this horse, you'd realize that he's got some of the oldest Morgan working western lines around without being inbred like your Morgans probably are.

  • That fat ass aughta stay off that horse! I crawl all over my morgan gelding too, but i DONT WEIGH ALMOST AS MUCH AS HE DOES EITHER!!!!!

  • that has nothing to do w/ the vesitlity of a morhan

  • I'm not sure if I understand what vesitlity or a morhan is.

However, I would say that this is a versatile Morgan horse. This horse has competed in driving, saddleseat, western, halter, and he does tricks. He's quite the horse, really. You should check out his web page, or if you live in the area, call his owners and visit him. :)

  • k well u called it the vesitlity of a morgan this has nothing to do with that all it is is a morgan laying on the ground playing dead thats easy my horse does that... and has thsi horse participated in a or b level morgan shows?? jw!!

  • The Show that this clip is taken out of is the Nebraska State Fair which is a class A rated show and the class is Morgan Versatility rather you agree or not that this is versatility it is still a great name for the video.

  • @crimsonpegasus then u need to put a video of him doing all that not just playing dead

  • looks like a one trick pony to me

  • I lease a Morgan and she is amazing!

  • I am probably gonna get a morgan

  • that doesnt hurt a horse at all if it was the horse would have gotten up and have ran away

  • i love my morgan :]

  • I sit on my horse when she lays down... It's not gonna hurt them.

  • poor horse.

  • whats so poor about it?!

  • they arent supposed to be say on while lying down, was all i was saying.

  • i know poor thng!!!

  • gorgeous morgan! i ride and board my horse at a morgan farm in alberta.. and they are awesome
