Ahh,,yes it is the crazy activists that are getting thrown in handcuffs..well, them and criminals. I have crossed the border literally hundreds of times and never once been hassled. Nor has anyone else that I know. Have you documents ready. Hand them to the border agent, answer their questions, continue on your merry way. I would LOVE to hear the border agent's side of this fairy tale.

Constitution does not apply at the border. I am surprised you did not know that. They did not need a probable cause to search your car or to detain you for further questioning. Just because it is not the US interior - it is the BORDER.

The Constitution applies to all Federal Agents. If it does not apply at the border, then there shouldn't be Federal Agents at the border. The Federal Government should not be doing anything that's not in the constitution. But then again, I'm not a Supreme Court Justice, so my opinion doesn't matter.
