I'll tell you why paintballs are expsive.

Because people BUY the overpriced paintballs.

If everyone would ONLY buy the cheaper stuff, the prices of the paint would be forced to go down. If enough people join in to only buy the most basic paintballs the prices will have to drop.

So spread the word!!!!!!!! And it might save us a lot of cash.

If a non electric marker was firing at 30 bps all that would be comming your way would be a drizzle of paint. Mechanical markers have no break beam eyes (or any other eye system for that matter), or any anti chop systems worthy of praise. You would chop so many balls the inside of your barrel would look like a very disgusting smoothie.

Man there are markers that can cycle alot more than 43times per second, however that is pretty irrelevant. Also i dont think that there are any hopper that can feed more than 27 balls per second, while the Halo B w/victory board+rip drive claim 35 BPS even while firing my marker on full auto it's never fed more than 28 or so BPS.. what does this mean?

It means That while sooting on semi NO ONE IS GONNA HIT ABOVE 25 BPS for sure and even on full auto (if you're a cheater for example)the speed of a marker is only limited by its hopper.Any marker can shoot 30bps but hoppers cant keep up, maybe when the technology gets a bit more advanced.

acutally the pulse/ vlocity can feed 30 + the pulse can do upwards around 40, and the fastest Semi was on a marq 6 or 7? and it was ~30bps

No if you read their description properly, the vlocity *(not too sure of the pulse) has an on gun FEED rate of roughly 25 bps but has a free fall rate of tops 35 bps. It isnt the same. And there is no fastest semi because as i've said.. almost any marker with the right board can shoot faster than any hopper can load. If a hopper has a feed rate of 25 bps means you cant shoot more than 25 balls per second. Hoppers like the Pulse and Vlocity loader have only free fall rates of 35BPS.. when its being fed into a marker its not the same because of things like the feed neck and dwell of the marker. The only way you could fire beyond the feed rate would be if you had an uncapped board with eyes turned off.. and this wouldnt really increase the rate of fire.. just make a hell of a lot of chops >_<.

there is a HUGE difference between cycle rate and fire rate.

Cycle rate = the rate at which the machanics of the gun can cycle

fire rate = the rat at which a gun can fire paintballs

there are guns who can cycle liek 40 times a second... but there is jsut no way to feed a ball that quickly with otu it chopping... cycle rate dosnt mean shit... its what the fire rate is that matters

You can do it. Anyone can, but you need alot of machinary and a recipe. The problem is making quality paintballs. You need really good machinery and lots of space for the whole operation. So unless you have a warehouse and alot of income then it isn't worth the while.
