I'm 24, and I LOVE this version of Peter Pan. My parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles STILL have this movie memorized thanks to my (nearly literal) continuous watching of it. Even now they say that I had no patience for the Disney version, lol. And yes, I still have this WHOLE thing memorized. I wish I knew a way of getting my VHS put onto DVD, so I could watch the hell out of it again without risking it just dying, lol.

I'm 22, and this is the Pan of my childhood as well! I'm still trying not to grow up...we'll see how that works. :) I also agree that this is the best version of Peter Pan and Disney will never come close to it.

Mary Martin never failed to please in whatever she was performing, but DISTANT MELODY from PETER PAN is somehow so touching and poignant. She sings it with such understanding. Memorable, indeed. Thanks for sharing.

My Daddy took me to see this show; it will always bring magical feelings to me.
