So, I'd like to point something out. In PS/SS, Ron took out a cave troll and single-handedly got the trio past the chess game, risking his own safety in the process. All Harry did in PS/SS was get a rock given to him by a mirror and touch some dude with the hands that his mom made lethal.

Hermione's only saving grace is her knowledge, Harry's only saving grace is his parents (does that count??). But Ronnie is cute, funny, reluctant but yes, brave. Loyal, and supportive of his friends.
