@zainycool NO. it is not. Tummy time like in this video is essential for baby but the answer to your question is no. It is a leading factor in SIDS, the only properly safe way to put baby to sleep is on their back with feet near the edge.
Well done mummy and daddy, just watched your video would love to know how much your bubby weighed when she was born? Our baby is very strong too 5 days old and rolling, active tummy time is the best :D
@zainycoool noooo that is extreamly dangerous the baby could suffocate.you never put a baby on there tummy always on there back when there sleeping.but this is safe because they are watching her.
@janineaaaaaa If you are talking about how they are pointed, she came out with both ears squished like that, it took several months for them to fully pop out, but she still has little elven-like ears. It never affected her hearing or anything, just an aesthetic thing.
In some cultures, the newborn is place right away on the mothers' chest. The baby will use his/her feet to push herself to the nipple of the mother. If you'll notice, the baby seems to be rooting when she is turning her head. Her feet are pushing her along.
Babies recognize the smell of breast milk as food and so they "climb" to it.
Looks like she's looking for a breast to feed
