@AskMeddi I know it's hard to believe. They had to cut the black mark because Tommy couldn't afford to pay the slave owner off, so they shipped black Mark back to Alabama to pick cotton. The original Lisa was actually good looking, but again, Tommy couldn't afford to keep her on, so he went to a dairy farm and got a cow. Thus, new lisa was born.

I remember seeing a billboard for "the room" at the corner of de longpre and highland for almost 2 years straight. Every time i passed it i thought, "that looks like the biggest piece of shit movie ever". What a gigantic understatement that was.

I love the last frame. I guess Tommy is wondering why the scene doesn't work. He probably realized it was lacking realism, so he changed the script and located the hospital on Guerrero St.

Only when "our sense of irony trumps our sense of decency," and that's pretty much all the time these days. Remember William Hung? By the way, Tommy didn't just act, he directed it too. Apparently they literally got him off the street to replace another director who got drunk all the time. I'd say Tommy couldn't be much better, but at least his movie makes me laugh...a lot.
