  • I've never heard of this company but I've heard of Netflix... and its been 4 years since this was posted... Yeah Netflix is sooo dead. ahahaha

  • @avengersoul Sun Microsystems was a hardware company (similar to IBM, you know?) but is now owned by ORACLE, it does not compete with NetFlix

  • ppl can ramble on about whatever they want to.NF is here..it's great & BB is pissed because they cant rob ppl anymore.Boo hoo hoo. Go to the library,Get your 10 items there for free & if you get late fee's there,it will only help your community & children get better tools to help them learn.Lets get real ppl.You need to mingle w/ppl getting movies,go there.Im sure you wont miss the $5 bag of popcorn-$5 candy & $2 sodas & $20 late fee's.It has nil to do w/lazyness.Pitiful comeback! BB's idea?

  • now netflix streams so.....

  • Hold up. I thought this country was in a financial meltdown..?? People got the time to be connected and just stay at home instead of paying their bills. lol No wonder!

  • there's still alot of people that don't have broadband at home. therefore, netflix and redbox will be relevant for years to come

  • Very true. People who sink too much time and money into digital only mediums are wasting their time , money, and energy. I've talked to high schoolers today who are actually starting to collect Vinyls again because they say they sound better. It's dangerous to put too many eggs into one basket.

  • lol@hootyhaha. Exactly! Downloading takes too much time plus there's something to be said for the physical content.

  • @res0408. There's still a lot of people that don't like the Red Box's limited selection either. This country gets lazier by the minute..lol

  • This guy is too brilliant lol... He is working on the new 10gb internet switches. Which will replace 100mb switches that are 8 years old. These switches are based on fiber optics, so high bandwidth and no need for capping bandwidth because there's no bottleneck with fios. streaming HD content is the future netflix is doing it already.

  • He's going to put even more people out of work by making block buster and netflix obsolete.

  • oh well its called buisness why pay millions in saleries when who dont have to. yeah it sucks but its the it works. people knew for years that technology is taking over, if people dont want to get a education on it and get a job in the field then they will be out of luck.

  • Note this was 2 years ago. And Blockbuster and NEtflix are still around . . doing good.. even doing their own digital thing while still renting out the solid state media (DVDs). That stuff isn't going anywhere for a long time. And to be only digital is just unsafe, unreliable, and plain stupid.

  • This might play well in Silicon Valley, but the heartland won't buy into it. They'll get there on-line movies from their DirectTV or cable providers. I agree with gatorbuilt, they just want to sell us the hardware.

  • Big fucking deal...another piece of hardware they want to sell...without the fiber optic backbone and the proper eqmnt downstream, it won't get off the ground...let alone getting licensing and a permission from Hollywood and DC...how is this news?...there have been On-Demand streams for years...

  • you talk way to fast

  • I just can't follow exactly what this guy is getting at. I need more info.
