The Mighty Clouds of Joy will always remind me of my father who passed last year. They were his and my grandmother's favorite group. Saturdays were family cleaning days and each of those mornings we were awakened to the sound of The Might Clouds of Joy and the smell of cleaning products! That's how we knew it was time to get up and help. Its funny how it annoyed us back then but now those cleaning Saturdays are some of our fondest memories of our father.

So I decided to just see if I could find this on here...Uncle Paul, he was my dad's best friend. He is my cousins dad..We had this song sung at my dad's funeral. I cant listen to it now although its been almost 7 years now. RIP Daddy..I know you are walking around heaven all day!!!

Everytime I listen to this song I think of all my family members and friends that have gone on to heaven. Seven months ago I lost my brother Ralph Rich and I can just see him now walking around with my dad grandma granddad enjoying all the beauties of heaven . I miss him so very much.

This is the song my sister and I love. I had to teach my sister this song one day. to sing @ a fonction she attended some years ago. And I just found this song this year. I love this song. I've song it on a few occations. Not exactly like Paul, but I think I did a pretty good job. I've listen to this song so many times today. This is the place where we will be when it is all over down here!!!! Praise God, Praise God!!!!!!

this guy song this song the same way every time, never cracked, made it look so easy. even after he was finished, no frowns, not looking strained. he was awesome. I miss those Mighty Clouds. i see joe on tv every now and then. just an old legend teaching the young folks how singing is suppose to be done.
