  • sounds kinda similar to the "Lunatic Pandora" track in ff8, the ending melody from ff8 also resembles the opening theme from FF1

  • only good track in the whole game

  • Duh duh duh - dudu - dudu - dudu - dudu - Duh duh duh!

^ Those Chosen by the PLanet...

This kinda reminded me of it O.o

  • Why wasn't this in Duodecim?!

Also, it kinda sounds like something outta the later levels of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.

  • @megamanmariosoul It would have made great gateway music.

  • Is it just me or is FFVI's Esper theme based off this? <3

  • @InsyteSparkleaf possibly,same musician.

  • The FF songs is awsome

  • Never ever ever after wandering for hours and hours on end found Warmech, WTF!!! I was ready for an ultimate test but where was he!? Honestly im so dissapointed i never got the chance to destroy him.

  • @Magmaking13 you couldn't find him? he's in the last area where Tiamat resides. that long stretch of road is where he only appears, and even then the chances are slim.

  • @drunkdrag0n No never, i know exactly where he shows up but seriously ive been up and down that patch for hours on end and well he just never shows his face. Must be scared of the 4 light warriors :P

  • @Magmaking13 scared? more like bored shitless that you'll never kick his ass.

  • @drunkdrag0n I'll take him, seen vids of people fighting him and he doesnt seem that badass, well he doesnt seem as badass as Ruby off FF7, seriously that piece of shit just never learns :P

  • @Magmaking13 *nods in agreement* Warmech can destroy you with a few moves, so i wish you good luck. Yeah, Ruby weapon is just fun to destroy countless times and Emerald only makes a challenge if you don't do the overflow glitch.

  • @drunkdrag0n Overflow??? U mean too much materia??? Yeah Emerald's easy when u know how to deal with him, Ruby is still a pain regardless of whatever strategy u use, although i still find Omega off ff8 the hardest weapon to fight. Tbh i gave up hope meeting Warmech but after i re-do 7,8 and 9 im gonna revisit FF1 if i can find my copy and crush him, well i'll try i still have no experience fighting him but im sure the silent 4 will do the job :P

  • @Magmaking13 by overflow i mean glitch the game to kill almost every enemy in one hit. it's do-able with Vincent and barret but you'll have to watch the tutorial about it to understand.

About ff8...i found Omega a piece of piss to kill. Squall + 255 in all stats + lionheart + aura stone = Epic win. six hits from lionheart and the battle was over.

ff9 was a bitch for me against Ozma as the game did become challenging against him, but i beat him eventually. (Eiko, Zidane, Amarant and Steiner.)

  • @drunkdrag0n Ahhh well to be honest i think i only ever had 2 'outstanding' games on FF8 and when i did i was about 12ish so i probably didnt have the battle wisdom etc u build over years of play lol. Oddly enough i didnt find Ozma too bad, i always thought he was the easiest outta the 'ultimate' enemies. In all fairness Omega Mark 12 in FF12 was a bastard to finish off. My team on FF9 btw was always Zidane, Freya, Vivi and Garnet/Dagger.

  • @Magmaking13 i favoured Eiko over Garnet/Dagger/Sarah due to her double white when she tranced. Amarant was overkill because of his No Mercy skill and his max weapon managed to always do 9999 damage to ANYTHING. FF12 was fun for two reasons. the first was the combat system, and the second was that enemy (last hunt) with 52 million hp. i beat it with my characters doing all the work, i was playing on my DS at the time of the fight.

  • @drunkdrag0n Haha Yiazermat perhaps had a litttle bit too much health id say, he wasnt difficult until maybe the final part of the fight but nothing to get concerned over, im pretty sure i went and cooked dinner, had a cup of tea, smoked a few cigs and had time to read several OP chapters lol. I hope the Weapons make a return to the series soon, i dunno why but i loved them as special bosses.

  • @Magmaking13 the weapons are a staple extra boss set in every final fantasy (save for a few, Omega, Shinryu, Warmech and others) but yeah, i'd love to fight them over and over again just for fun.

an actual challenge i'd want to do. fight TWO weapons at the same time when caught in a pincer attack. could you imagine a pincer by Omega and Ultima weapon? or Ruby and Emerald? that would be a fight worthy of the final fantasy series, and a fucking hard double boss as well.

  • @drunkdrag0n I wonder if that fight would even be possible to finish??? Oddly enough ive been writing a story for years now but id love to sell it to SE to do as a FF game with Weapon as a special summon available after defeat all the others, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, Diamond, Ultima, Paragon, Nemesis and Omega, it would be great fun.

  • @Magmaking13 why don't you post your story on Fanfiction? i know i'd read it.

  • @drunkdrag0n I wrote several chapters but thanks to the sheer awesomeness of OP and FT mangas this year i did alot of overhauling in my story with new characters, locations and story arcs, but i always write to this stuff and my story has been majorly influenced by every FF game. Id say FF7-FF10 mainly but there are things from FF1-6 ive been influenced by aswell. When im sorted a little better i'll post it and let u know. Btw seen any of the new stuff for FFversus13? Looks great and i cant wait

  • @Magmaking13 yeah i can't wait either. the main thing that's caught my attention is the main character and the amount of weapons he uses. what also has my attention is the fact it's going to use the Kingdom Hearts engine making battle quick and furiously fast.

  • @drunkdrag0n It looks awesome, im hoping it'll be slightly related to FF13 in some way whether it be a story of the future or past. It looks superb and im thoroughly lookin forward to it, although i always look forward 2 every new FF game released, maybe they decided to put Warmech in it aswell lol

  • @Magmaking13 hah, just learned from a pal of mine that final fantasy 13-2 is supposedly in the making using the engine of final fantasy 10-2. damn, Square-Enix have started going down two different roads and one will spiral out of control.

  • @drunkdrag0n What FF13-2??? So its gonna be a sequel to 13 with Light and the other 3 who ended up on Pulse??? Man SE are goin game crazy, they must've made a good amount the past few years to be doing this much production, although FF7,8 and 9 being on PS3 online probably helped, everyone i know who has a PS3 and played the classic 3 have all of them so considering they probably have made more than usual. Hopefully it wont be as much of a drag as 10-2 although it was nice to see Yuna find Tidus

  • Those who not fear WARMECH will be fucked by WARMECH.

  • Where is Tiamat, Where is Tiamat... What's this, a giant bridge... WARMECH WTH!

Warmech appeared that day, today i already beat Chaos and can't find Warmech again ._.

  • Those metal clacking sounds seemed to be used in Judgement Day theme at northern cave ff7.

  • lolwut, ff1 came before ff7 you dumbass

  • Why did you respond to my comment? Its the one over you should have responded to.

  • Oh, man! This reminds me so much of FF9!! Only the beginning of it. 0:00-0:23.

  • Where in FF9?

  • Man... Im not sure...... But damn, this really reminds me of FF9. Its very nostalgic.

  • I understand. ;) It's why FF9 has so many nostalgic easter eggs, I love em both.

  • You dont have any idea how much my life has been changed because of Final Fantasy. These games are the most powerful things on earth. You get so many memories with them...

  • Exactly. Still, I hope they were good memories? :D

  • Yeah, of course ;-) Nostalgia can be really hurting some times. The words meaning is "coming home" and "pain".

  • To me, it shows in Chrono Trigger's "End of Time" or FF8's "Fragments of Memories"

  • Ah, yeah... I remember that. Last time I heard that tune was many years ago. Wow, it hurted. You know, I aren`t able to listen to it now...

  • I made the mistake of using CT's soundtrack to the book "Five People you Meet in Heaven", and can't listen to the tune anymore.

  • These feelings we have are really weird. When I listen to a nostalgic tune I get all the memories from that game in my head at once. I start thinking about all the huge memories I have with that game.

  • It's still good. I get memories of FF4, whenever I smell this Candy Cane/Mulberry candle.

  • When is raining very much outside and when its cloudy I get nostalgic...

  • @Barbe huh? Explain please.

  • @GoddessofCoruscant

    Explain what and where?

  • I never knew that a game that came out so long ago would have a concept of a "floating island." That's cool.

  • :) I see where the inspiration for the terra theme came from :)

    Go nobuo :)

  • Again makes you feel in the air, but with the enemy all around, my favorite dungeon, plus it has a mechanical feel to it, because it floats and this readies you for a huge boss fight, with Tiamat, my favorite boss character!

  • This song is so demented, I love it.

  • It's creepy yet elegant at the same time, isn't it?

  • Hauntingly beautiful.

  • It's why I sleep to it whenever I get the chance. ;)
