We use an IEM (in-ear-monitor system) made by Aviom. So I run my guitar to the FOH (front-of-house audio mixer), which would feed an IEM (in-ear-monitor system), then that gets routed back to my ear. I have full control over myself and 15 other channels. A suggestion for you might be to get a two channel active foldback, then use a DI box "thru" to drive channel 1 of the unit. Then use channel 2 to drive the stage mix sent to you. That's if you are direct to the PA. Hope that helps.
@bryankeithnelson Thanks that is helpful - i am currently running a separate foldback that my pod xt live runs direct into as well as to FOH - i have done this so i don't get lost in the foldback mix with other channels - i have wanted to go with in ear for a while and as you suggested should invest in a small 2-4 channel mixer.

Very informative video.
I too use a pod xt live and a line 6 variax for worship.
I never thought to run another cable with the cat5 to use as wired in ear - i do have a lot of trouble with hearing myself in the foldbacks.
Do you run the in ear direct from the pod xt of through the system as a foldback?
