After looking at the movie on the offcial brawl site since Youtube's video's are compressed Pikachu and Kirby did change slightly. Pikachu has a little more detail in his ears and he has became lighter like link became darker. Kirby has changed very little though, he now has shadows under his arms I noticed this when the Melee Kirby was running.
