To start off, it's best to be 55 or higher.

Second, what I've used is Rydia uses Bahamut every time, Kain Jumps every time, Cecil attacks every time, Rosa uses Cure 4/Curaja every time, and Edge uses Shurikens every time.

NCS, I think FF8 had a way of going beyond 9999 damage as well with Eden, or Dark Matter items? I don't remember too well, but I know you could do more than 9999.

Zemus/Zeromus is definitely one of those final bosses that deserves to be the final boss. Story-wise, the character isn't developed very much, but the battle with him makes up for it. He is a lot of fun to fight, because he is possible to beat, but is still challenging.

I got so lucky on this fight, I was really low on health with everyone, and set Rosa to use Cure 4 but before she could I accidently told Kain to jump, at which point Zeromus used Big Bang killing everyone except Kain, and the Kain finished the Jump and actually killed Zeromus with that hit.

@NintendoCapriSun I thought of a game that seems like a perfect fit for you. Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future. Its on Dreamcast/PS2. I see it used at Gamestop for less than 15$. Maybe even less than 10$. Id even get you it myself, but i have no idea how to give people stuff through the mail. It's playful and beautiful. But its also very difficult. First playthrough I had a harder time with it than Ninja Gaiden. (Im weird..) However, im sure you would enjoy it.

when i was a kid I was never smart enough to use the debuff spells on enemies because I didn't think they worked, slow takes away tons of unnecessary grinding for this fight. If not using slow you might as well try to find the pink tail with all the extra time you'll have to take
