This video doesn't really start till 2 minutes in... just go to 2 mins to hear the story. The intro is a complete waste of your time but the story is cool. Just get past the first 2 mins. 3 to 5 mins you can skp. Mostly narrative and music but picks up again just after 5 mins.

Unfortunately, this movie shows the truth with the false. The maker of this film never claimed any power of discernment, so you have to use it yourself. Because one part is true, doesn't make another part true also, and likewise for one false part, the whole should not be discounted.
The gold could have easily been tossed around by someone. You should suspect that before believing it is from God. And unless the mana appeared right before your eyes, I would suspect the person put it there. I know it sucks to not trust people, but there are so many liars out there.

@hornzbiddle1189, You are right in Recommending "The Ressurection of the Son of God" it is an extremely thorough theological study on Christ's resurrection with historical and first century perspective eyes, i'd also recommend N.T wrights other book on Jesus "Jesus and the victory of God" which is a thorough reading of 1st century sources and the bible concluding in an understanding of who Jesus was and what he did. a little weird in places but brilliant otherwise, lots of evidence in these.

Somewhere around part 6 or 7, they interview a guy (plus witnesses) who was dead for several hours but was brought back by Christ. There's also a video clip in part 5 of *something* moving through a crowd, and... well you just have to see that one. It's kinda freaky.

But anyway, I totally agree with you that the makers of this video didn't supply enough concrete evidence to support all these testimonies. A large reason I believe it is personal experience. You'd have to do your own research just to be sure.

@hornzbiddle1189 I'll trust books more than a google search any day, so if you have any suggestions on books that provide more reliable proof that there was a God and Jesus,then I'll be more than happy to look at them. And this isn't something I've discounted quickly. During my Senior year of HS, I read the entire Bible and found everything about it to be self-contradicting and inconsistent. I mean, common, an all loving God? That makes no sense. If you can love, you can hate. No exceptions.
@Gamenerd1991 A good book that I can think of off the top of my head is C.S. Lewis's "Mere Christianity". I would recommend this book to anyone, Christian or not. It's just a good read.
If your looking for a work that systematically goes over historical evidence for Jesus, I'll have to get back to you. It has been a while. I've never personally read N.T. Wright's "The Resurrection of the Son of God" (I'm only 60% sure I'm citing the correct title); I decided to stick to cliffnotes on that one.
@hornzbiddle1189 This is something that I've thought about for a long time and my philosophy is that religion was useful back then for uniting entire groups of people becuase they were of same race and ethnicity and they united to help set up the basic moral codes necessary to create a gentle society from religion. But nowadays, religion serves little to no purpose but to keep humanity divided while races are becoming more and more diverse every year.

@Gamenerd1991 There's more than a reasonable chance that you're right; I'm biased due to my own personal experience. A video like this would have never turned me to Christ. I came to Christ my senior year of HS after thoroughly researching the Resurrection- you'd be surprised at the amount of historical evidence (N.T. Wright has a pretty exhaustive 1000 page book detailing it all- go to C.S. Lewis for the cliffnotes), and the availability of information via a quick google search.
This happened to my mom who is already a believer. I would not have believed it, had it not been my mom, so I understand the what it feels like, it's awesome.

@Lightmane321 Exercise is a good cure for depression, trying running. As for your marriage try basic communication, you will be surprised how far an honest dialogue can go. I personally have suffered a great deal through my life, as do all beings, and the one cure I have found is meditation. Through this practice i have experienced the higher self and awoken to the emptiness, I know you may be hesitant and you dont have to take my advice but either way I hope you find happiness. Still, a miraculous healing from God, through one of His children praying & laying hands on me would really be something.
Biblical meditation is meditating on God's word. So it's not meditating in a way that you try to empty your mind and sit quietly. If you empty your mind, you might let anything enter you, but if you meditate on God, you're not emptying yourself but actually being filled of God. You can meditate on for example the works of God(anything that God did in OT or Jesus did In NT), the Lord himself (for example Exodus 34:6 tells about God's character), good things (see Phil.4:8).
@Lightmane321 About biblical meditation, it's meditating on God's word so it's not trying to empty your mind when there's a danger that anything can enter your mind but it's filling your mind with God. You can for example meditate on God's works (anything God did in Bible or Jesus in NT), God's nature (for example: Exodus 34:6), good things (see: Phil.4:8). I'll be praying for you.
@Lightmane321 Yes, I do believe in Jesus' journey he encountered this practice. Start off by sitting in a position you feel most comfortable in, relax all parts of your body but keep your back straight. Begin by concentrating on the sensation of your breath as it goes in and out, focus and dont worry at first your mind will keep rambling, but with practice it can be quieted. When your mind is quiet it allows for the divine thoughts of your higher self, or what many people call god to be heard.
@Lightmane321 These thoughts will awaken you to who you truly are and bring you to a new level of spirituality. With this practice you can eliminate fear and all its manifestations; the cessation of the ego will awaken you to the oneness, the harmony of love and compassion that we are all a part of, we are all one with god, we are god. There are many times where you will suffer but there is always a lesson to be learned, as well as forgiveness and love to be conveyed. I hope you find peace :]

I'm a bit skeptical too. I do believe that God does miracles today, but I am suspicious of extrabibical miracles. (By extrabiblical, I mean miracles not found in The Bible) I do know that anyone who does not have The Spirit of God cannot say that Jesus Is Lord likewise anyone with The Spirit of God cannot say "Jesus be cursed". The Bible does have that as our guide to test the spirits.
Thank you. :) I guess I should rephrase a bit. I am suspicious of extrabiblical miracles, but I do not automatically disbelieve them. I do not consider myself at all qualified to be in the position to say that any of the miracles I've seen in this video are not from God, yet at the same time, I do hold fast that any supernatural activity should be accepted, but accepted in a careful manner. We are called the test the spirits, and are warned about false prophets in the last days.
However, I do know that any miracle or supernatural event or spirit which does acknowledge that Jesus is Lord, and that He was God in the flesh, (doesn't mean that any miracle is going to automatically out of the blue state this) is indeed from God, as long as it doesn't violate any of The Bible.

"Signs and wonders" are not necessarily a sign of saving faith in Jesus Christ nor do they necessarily produce that faith nor do they maintain it. Quit making Scripture and your faith line up with what you experience and start making your experience line up with Scripture and saving faith in Jesus Christ. This video doesn't really start till 2 minutes in... just go to 2 mins to hear the story. The intro is a complete waste of your time but the story is cool. Just get past the first 2 mins. 3 to 5 mins you can skp. Mostly narrative and music but picks up again just after 5 mins.
Storyteller claims it the "same" manna that was given to the Israelites. How do you prove it's the same? I'm not aware of the original manna healing anyone supernaturally. Supposedly this manna does.

You hear a story about a couple who have problems in their marriage, they go to church looking for some help from God... we expect to hear that God filled their hearts with a new sense of love for one another... but NO... God gave them GOLD TEETH instead!! Then we discover that these two crazy people are Aunty Patsy and Uncle Bob. There's an element of comic genius in that!!

The gold could have easily been tossed around by someone. You should suspect that before believing it is from God. And unless the mana appeared right before your eyes, I would suspect the person put it there. I know it sucks to not trust people, but there are so many liars out there.

These starving kids are probably partly due to the lack of action by the church (along with the rest of the world), but on the other hand this group seems to be the only one going to these countries to help. We as Christians have been called to go out and SERVE the orphans, the widows, the lowest of the low. We are called to love, as Jesus loved (and still loves).

@hornzbiddle1189, You are right in Recommending "The Ressurection of the Son of God" it is an extremely thorough theological study on Christ's resurrection with historical and first century perspective eyes, i'd also recommend N.T wrights other book on Jesus "Jesus and the victory of God" which is a thorough reading of 1st century sources and the bible concluding in an understanding of who Jesus was and what he did. a little weird in places but brilliant otherwise, lots of evidence in these.

Somewhere around part 6 or 7, they interview a guy (plus witnesses) who was dead for several hours but was brought back by Christ. There's also a video clip in part 5 of *something* moving through a crowd, and... well you just have to see that one. It's kinda freaky.

The man was obviously not really dead and was just in a state that made him appear to be dead. There are just WAAAY too many behind the scene factors that could've taken place to make all of this seem like a God is doing anything. You expect me to beleive that their teeth just magically turned gold when they could've done that?

But anyway, I totally agree with you that the makers of this video didn't supply enough concrete evidence to support all these testimonies. A large reason I believe it is personal experience. You'd have to do your own research just to be sure.
But why discount it so quickly? If something like this were true, wouldn't you want to be absolutely sure? You probably have some friends with(continued in next post)

And this isn't something I've discounted quickly. During my Senior year of HS, I read the entire Bible and found everything about it to be self-contradicting and inconsistent. I mean, common, an all loving God? That makes no sense. If you can love, you can hate. No exceptions.

@Gamenerd1991 A good book that I can think of off the top of my head is C.S. Lewis's "Mere Christianity". I would recommend this book to anyone, Christian or not. It's just a good read.
If your looking for a work that systematically goes over historical evidence for Jesus, I'll have to get back to you. It has been a while. I've never personally read N.T. Wright's "The Resurrection of the Son of God" (I'm only 60% sure I'm citing the correct title); I decided to stick to cliffnotes on that one.

@hornzbiddle1189 This is something that I've thought about for a long time and my philosophy is that religion was useful back then for uniting entire groups of people becuase they were of same race and ethnicity and they united to help set up the basic moral codes necessary to create a gentle society from religion. But nowadays, religion serves little to no purpose but to keep humanity divided while races are becoming more and more diverse every year.

@Gamenerd1991 There's more than a reasonable chance that you're right; I'm biased due to my own personal experience. A video like this would have never turned me to Christ. I came to Christ my senior year of HS after thoroughly researching the Resurrection- you'd be surprised at the amount of historical evidence (N.T. Wright has a pretty exhaustive 1000 page book detailing it all- go to C.S. Lewis for the cliffnotes), and the availability of information via a quick google search.

@Lightmane321 Exercise is a good cure for depression, trying running. As for your marriage try basic communication, you will be surprised how far an honest dialogue can go. I personally have suffered a great deal through my life, as do all beings, and the one cure I have found is meditation. Through this practice i have experienced the higher self and awoken to the emptiness, I know you may be hesitant and you dont have to take my advice but either way I hope you find happiness. Biblical meditation is meditating on God's word. So it's not meditating in a way that you try to empty your mind and sit quietly. If you empty your mind, you might let anything enter you, but if you meditate on God, you're not emptying yourself but actually being filled of God. You can meditate on for example the works of God(anything that God did in OT or Jesus did In NT), the Lord himself (for example Exodus 34:6 tells about God's character), good things (see Phil.4:8).

@Lightmane321 About biblical meditation, it's meditating on God's word so it's not trying to empty your mind when there's a danger that anything can enter your mind but it's filling your mind with God. You can for example meditate on God's works (anything God did in Bible or Jesus in NT), God's nature (for example: Exodus 34:6), good things (see: Phil.4:8). I'll be praying for you.

Start off by sitting in a position you feel most comfortable in, relax all parts of your body but keep your back straight. Begin by concentrating on the sensation of your breath as it goes in and out, focus and dont worry at first your mind will keep rambling, but with practice it can be quieted. When your mind is quiet it allows for the divine thoughts of your higher self, or what many people call god to be heard.

I'm a bit skeptical too. I do believe that God does miracles today, but I am suspicious of extrabibical miracles. (By extrabiblical, I mean miracles not found in The Bible) I do know that anyone who does not have The Spirit of God cannot say that Jesus Is Lord likewise anyone with The Spirit of God cannot say "Jesus be cursed". The Bible does have that as our guide to test the spirits.

Thank you. :) I guess I should rephrase a bit. I am suspicious of extrabiblical miracles, but I do not automatically disbelieve them. I do not consider myself at all qualified to be in the position to say that any of the miracles I've seen in this video are not from God, yet at the same time, I do hold fast that any supernatural activity should be accepted, but accepted in a careful manner. We are called the test the spirits, and are warned about false prophets in the last days.

However, I do know that any miracle or supernatural event or spirit which does acknowledge that Jesus is Lord, and that He was God in the flesh, (doesn't mean that any miracle is going to automatically out of the blue state this) is indeed from God, as long as it doesn't violate any of The Bible.

And I replied to your post, because I thought you mixed up the words crutch (which in America are the things you use to help you walk when you have an injured foot or leg.) and crotch (like the groin area) Because mix up's like that get on my nerves a bit. Like when people don't know the difference between 'were', 'where', and 'We're. Or between 'there', 'their, they're.

In the UK, Crutch is also a name used for the instrument used to help people walk. We say it more like crutch, while as you say it with the O.

This film evidences nothing more than modern day trickery.
Magicians and illusionists have been fooling the masses for hundreds of years. The greatest saddness caused by this film is that it preys on the vulnerability of people who have suffered greatly in their lives, do not have the intellectual ability to differentiate between truth and fiction or to understand that they are being taken avantage of.
If you actually believe in the god of which you speak, he would class your actions as evil.

"Signs and wonders" are not necessarily a sign of saving faith in Jesus Christ nor do they necessarily produce that faith nor do they maintain it. Quit making Scripture and your faith line up with what you experience and start making your experience line up with Scripture and saving faith in Jesus Christ. People who believe in signs and wonders like this and chase after them need to get a grip.

Im not commenting to say that Christ cant do these things BUT think about that scripture for a moment ok? Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever. He is not in need of a gymick (sp?) or a trick to make you or anyone believe. His Spirit is sufficient. His grace is sufficient. His Word says He would draw all men unto Himself. @michequiche What I mean by this is that the Lord sent His Holy Spirit back to Earth when he ascended to Heaven. Do you really think that the Holy Spirits presence would be manifest enough without having to give ppl gold teeth and gold dust and stuff like that? Nothing like this was ever spoken of in the Bible at all. Why would the Lord change the rules now? Many places in the Bible when the presence of God was near people knew it without any sorts of things like this.

Anyone who doesn't believe what they're seeing in this video either doesn't know God or your God is way too small. If you aren't amazed at His wonders everyday, you aren't pressing into His presence and power.
