I have one of these. I cut the flybar down by an inch and a half either side, swapped the bottom rotor andassembly upside down and added some weight to the front end. It went forwards a lot better but I couldn't stop the blade strikes every time I wanted to turn it at speed. I have given it to my son now. Waste of time these 9053's.

@1killerbilly in my opinion it would be the heli shown on the vid right here. Is the Double Horse 9053 Volitation Helicopter. Is 26" long (66cm) is not too expensive, and pretty awesome.

But if you're a beginner, i'd recommend buying a smaller inside one, learn on it, then get the bigger one.

@callofdutyfreak39 2 different levels... the solopro v2 (if i'm right) is about 7.5" the DH 9053 is 26"... So obviously the smaller one will be easier, but the Volitation is a different purpose.. The 7,5" ones good for learning, and for some inside play, I actually have a course for mine, picking up and putting down small objects. But that's about it.... The big one however is good for outdoor playing, when you learned how to operate it. I would go for a Sky Lanneret 7,5" to learn.. is 20usd...

these helis are crap Ive had over 20 helis 6ch & 4ch & 3ch there are total shit. As for blade hitting flybar turn blade grips upside down then turn blades over the flybar hits the bottom blades until you turn them. Turning them over will give you about ¾ inch more gap between blade i had mine for 2 days the main shaft lock nut snapped now i can't replace drive gears or main shaft peace of crap don't buy crap

*WARNING* Don't waste your money on this useless childs toy. They have a design flaw that causes the flybar to strike the bottom rotors so they fall out of the sky, and if there is even the lightest of breezes, they just blow away. The 9053 is utter, utter crap. Spend a little extra and buy a proper beginners model helicopter such as a Honeybee instead. I am starting to think that retailers only sell the 9053 for the spare parts business. There are plenty of YT videos showing the crashes.

this is great but once you want o start flying more forward and back ward it does not work well you have to make the rear rudders bigger I just took and old credit card or business card cut it about half inch wide but as long as the regular ones are a little bit longer and just left everything the same and now it works wonders it will go forward back wards left right everything thank you! and hope this helps anybody with the same problem.
