This is an essential record for me as it includes Winnie Atwell and therefore has to be in my collection. I seem to recall another of these Lord Taverners charity records which included Tommy Steele - a collecters item from a Rock and Roll point of view I would think.

Thanks for this, I did not know it was the first charity record to reach the top ten. David sounds wonderful as usual, but I don t know why he was given such a short piece, he sounds the best by far, and he was the top selling singer of the 50s.
