It depends on what you are doing the jumping for. Given the Scottie build, vertical jumping (jumping up on you or a table) would be easier for them than the kind of jumping you do in agility with them. I wouldn't jump a Scottie higher than what you see here (and Mac actually has a good amount of leg under him). 8 inches of repeated jumping would be appropriate for most of them. As they age, the jumpheight should probably be lowered, still.
