mufflers don't play any factor for inspections you can Run Straight pipes as Long as you have your cats on that's all that matters! but they sure dampen they sound I put a pair of 44's short on my p71 and in cali you can't Run high flow cats this state sux

as long as theres a muffler there it should pass inspection, that doesnt mean you wont get a noise violation ticket though.

in michigan we don't have inspections. i would ask your local govt official and see what the requirements are in your state or local municipality.

haha yeah the 40s sound good but its a little more subtle. the glasspack sounds a little too much like a civic for me. the only thing with the 10s is you are going to have to do some fabrication to fit em on but yeah i couldnt be happier with the sound. haha.

i have a cat on it. my buddy and i just cut the exhaust where the old mufflers started and bolted the new mufflers on.

that does sound pretty sweet. i cut the tips of of mine and dumped them behind the axel just like you almost. nice tone for flows, i guess it is because it is coming from a vic, huh?lol
