  • and then you stick your arm in there....

  • Look at those fabric guide vane panels. You can see the fabric doesn't move at all. Where's the wind?

  • this proves nothing

  • it might be capable realistically of 100 watts in a storm

  • I like the turbine design, Except fot the lovers that are added on. I wonder how effective it would be without them, My thoughts are it might produce 500-750 watts.

  • my skepticism was in this units ability to recharge those batteries in a reasonable amount of time. I have no doubts there are batteries in it capable of supporting 5000 watt output.

  • It is possible with a generator and battery bank

  • My Opinon...If it was really as efficient as they say, I would be very impressed. However a couple car batteries and a 5000watt inverter would do the same thing. Not saying its faked, but that the turbine is charging batteries and the batteries are doing the work...nothing special really

  • @HobbyVAWT guess there is no way to know unless there is a meter showing generator capability. Like you said, no matter what it is generating, it is likely charging the batteries. But then, a standard phone line can charge batteries, if you can wait long enough.
