msg is not bad for you. theres not ONE human study that shows its bad for you. theres only studies in mice, and they fed them HUGE HUGE amounts of msg, you would have to eat pounds and pounds of it to equal the doses, and not only that, they did real human studies, and showed it didnt even have the same effect even at high doses. your body makes natural glutamates every day which msg is treated the same as. msg is found naturally in everything from mushrooms to chicken. its not harmful at all.
