Another "Wheel" connection: At about 0:36, the music sounds like Merv Griffin's composition called "Changing Keys", aka Wheel of Fortune's theme music between 1983-2001.
@Jessyleppert Correction: Alan Thicke composed "Big Wheels" which was used between 1975-83. Merv Griffin composed "Changing Keys", which (in its last rearrangement) was still in use as late as 2001. It was then that Steve Kaplan's composition "Happy Wheels" came into use, with an arrangement thereof in use today.
What a pleasant surprise to find this song after all these years. It got little airplay, but I never forgot it even though I haven't heard in at least 30 years. It holds up well after all these years. Thanks for posting.
i remember hearing this on the flamethrower 610-AM in Houston with Hudson and Harrigan in the morning and Ron "Stacks of Wax" Parker in the afternoons...November, 1968....good times.
Man...I had this 45, but I had no idea that Chuck Woolery was involved....of course back in those days, we just liked the song and didnt do some research about band members.
