  • miss, don't worry u look sexy!

  • you dont look fat well u do but not to fat

  • See, Aussies try to lose weight and post it on YouTube, while Americans post videos of themselves purposefully gaining weight. They think they're doing something good? It's so dumb and I really can't stand the idiots who support them.

  • Weight means nothing on its own. Factor in your height! I'm guessing by your size and weight that you must be tall (1m75 and counting).

  • Hey there! Have you tried - fast abs magic (do a search on google)? Ive heard some great things about it and my sister got beautiful Six pack abs and lost a ton of fat with it.

  • وع وع وع وع وع وع وع وع كفااار

  • let me rub it

  • Miss, Don't take shit from anyone. You're a well spoken person. You deserve respect. You can demand respect from others by how you carry yourself.

  • @MonacoBlast RESPECT: Earned. Not given or deserved.

  • @TheLoveShocker I respectfully disagree.

  • @MonacoBlast I cordially and courteously acknowledge your disagreement. Not respectfully though. It has to be earned. :)

  • tell ppl to get a life ?? why dont you talk to family or your man or a doctor i mean you seem like you have issues with ppl in general and they arent the problem u are u need to fix u cos lady you cant fix society

  • you look super sexy in this video why do u want to lose weight.

  • I hope you know that bloating up is normal for someone trying to loose weight. It happened to me when i started working out too. Its just your stomach muscles adapting to the strain of exercising. :) I'tll go away.

  • @edm618 Let me fix that. You're not ugly.

  • It's like looking into a mirror. I have the same stomach, girl. This video is a couple years old, so I'm sure things are different for you now, but I still wish you the best of luck on your journey! You've inspired me to try harder! :)

  • nice

  • Then again this was two years ago. Things my be different for you.

  • If you don't feel you deserve the same respect as the rest of the worl you are probably sending out that message somehow. Peol basically treat us how we "command" them to. At least that's been it for me.

  • As if one dude doing a publicity stunt for CNN is some kind of medical study. O_O

  • @eljagg01 Protip: He's a professor of nutrition with a doctorate, dipshit. "Durrrrr just some dude doing a study". Goddamn, you don't have a leg to stand on in this argument.

You have never studied physics or biology, have you?

  • get fatter

  • @Dolphingerman That's just excuse-making. People are fully capable of choosing who and what they wish to be in life. When you make excuses, rather than progress towards bettering yourself, you are choosing to not change.

  • You look great right now.

  • You should gain instead its more rewarding

  • Respond to this video... u look gorgeous 2 me

  • health is about way more than how much fat you have. scientists now know that activity levels and the type of foods you eat are far more important. So how about looking at those areas rather than seemingly impossible weight loss efforts. Both my long term girlfriends were big strong and fitter than any of their skinny mates. I think you look fine but im betting your unhappiness is less about health worries and more about not being skinny liike the rubbish on tv and in magazines

  • @camillionmonkey No I want to lose it for health, I have extremely high cholesterol and I am classed as morbidly obese

  • Eat less. Exercise more. It's that fucking simple. Thermodynamics, the basic laws of physics, apply to you just like they do to the rest of the world. If you consume less energy than you put out you will lose weight, it isn't hard.

  • @17thknight Agreed! But this video is over 2 years old and I'm still basically at square one! I have binge eating disorder and physical issues that make it harder for me. But I wont stop trying especially now that I have high cholesterol which is scary.

  • @ByeByeBelly That comment wasn't entirely directed at you, it was mostly to the people saying that weight loss is impossible and it's genetic, and blah blah blah. Once you recognize there's a problem, that's at least a step in the right direction.

  • @17thknight Oh, is that all? That's only what fat people get told EVERY DAY. If it was that easy, there wouldn't be millions of fat people.

  • @eljagg01 Actually, it IS that easy. There are millions of fat people because they do not exercise enough and they eat unhealthy foods in large quantities. It isn't some magical coincidence that obesity has increased from 15% - 50% in the past 30 years.

  • @17thknight You're right it's not a coincidence. It's due to a. a total change in the work environment of most Americans from being labor-intensive to largely sedentary and b. unhealthy foods being subsidized by the government, making calorie-rich foods more affordable.

No one wants to be fat. That's absurd. Endlessly parroting "eat less and exercise" is not helpful because it's a PRE-SUPPOSITION that fat people eat huge amounts and are simply lazy.

  • @eljagg01 Incorrect. It's because people consume more calories than they burn. It's THAT simple. Do you think you, or anyone else, is immune to the laws of Thermodynamics? Apparently you do. It's ironic you bring this up, repeatedly, considering a professor just undertook a study where he ate nothing but junkfood (hohos, doritos, etc.) for months. He lost 27lbs. Know how? He at less calories of junkfood than he burned (without exercise). Feel free to read it on CNN. Fat people DO eat too much

  • @17thknight Some people have metabolic issues which cause them to be overweight. Obviously they're still going to be eating more calories than they burn to gain weight... but reducing their calories to lose weight would have to be so little that they wouldn't get adequate nutrition. But that's rare... it is more that people eat too much and don't get enough activity. But that's fine and simple to fix if you don't have binge eating disorder and you have other ways to cope with stress that dont...

  • @17thknight We weren't discussing the formulaic expression for weight loss, merely the fact that for millions of overweight and obese people it's almost impossible to tip the balance in their favor.

You're talking about a climate where many literally CANNOT afford fresh healthy foods and time between multiple jobs is used for sleep. Nor did you address the fact that millions of overweight and obese people have eaten extremely calorically restricted diets and exercised for YEARS with no effect.

  • @eljagg01 "Can't afford fresh healthy foods." That's a complete load of garbage. You can fill your house (just like I, a college student) with healthy foods on even the worst paying jobs. And these "Millions" of people who magically can't lose weight? Show me 1 study. Anything. Because it doesn't exist. If you exercise and eat less YOU LOSE WEIGHt. You are so fucking dumb it's unfathomable. Do you know what THERMODOYNAMICS is you dumb sack of shit? I guess some people are immune to physics.

  • @17thknight I'm sorry to see you're so irrationally angry at me that you'd feel the need to lash out with insults. Nevertheless:

("Diminished Energy Requirements in Reduced-Obese Patients" Dr. Rudy Leibel The authors found that those who had dieted and lost weight in the past had, on average, a 25 percent lower metabolism than the control patients, who had not lost significant weight.

  • @17thknight American Journal of Physiology, Endocrinology and Metabolism found that 25 days of calorie restriction (dieting) significantly reduced T3 production by 50 percent. The thyroid hormone called T3 has long been known to be the body's metabolic gas pedal.

University of Wisconsin researchers report that as many as 15% of obese people carry antibodies to a form of adenovirus (Ad-36) that has been implicated in obesity in other animals. Experimental Biology annual meeting

  • @17thknight Dr Sadaf Farooqi from the University of Cambridge and Dr Matt Hurles from the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute found that of 300 children with severe obesity, many of them revealed an absent portion of chromosome 16 due to a CNV mutation.People with deletions involving this gene had a strong drive to eat and gained weight very easily.

  • @17thknight Dr. Jiang He, School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, Tulane University in her meta-analysis of recent epedemiologic research found that 253 quantitative trait loci for obesity-related phenotypes have been localized in 61 genome-wide linkage scans, and genetic variants in 127 biologic candidate genes have been reported to be associated with obesity-related phenotypes from 426 positive findings.

  • @17thknight Mary F. Feitosa The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute Family Heart Study

A genome scan using a variance-components–based linkage approach was performed for each of two complementary studies seeking to identify loci with potential influence on BMI. There was strong evidence for linkage on chromosome 7q32.3 in each sample. The linkage result is replicated by the consistent evidence from these two complementary subsets.

  • @eljagg01 I think what 17thknight is saying if of course true, that if you consume less calories than you burn, you will lose weight. But I also agree that there are many factors which influence how many calories a person actually needs and how much they burn

  • and I know hardly anything about physics but I'm doing a BHSc and this is definitely nutritional biochemistry issue

  • @17thknight Gut Microbiota and Its Possible Relationship With Obesity John K. DiBaise The metabolising gut microbiota facilitate the extraction of calories from ingested dietary substances & help to store these calories in host adipose tissue. The gut bacterial flora of obese mice and humans include fewer Bacteroidetes & more Firmicutes than their lean counterparts, suggesting differences in caloric extraction of ingested food substances is due to the composition of the gut microbiota.

  • @17thknight If you're truly ignorant about the enormous socio-cultural economic effects on obesity and health, you could always educate yourself.

As for the medical studies demonstrating the obvious presence of many factors in obesity and weight gain apart from diet and exercise, I think I've gotten you off to a good start.

  • @17thknight involve food. So the actual science behind it is simple but actually changing your psychological response to food and changing your life is another story. Also someone can lose weight eating nothing but small amounts of junk food, but that's going to affect their blood sugar and cholesterol, triglycerides, blood pressure etc and make them unhealthy in most cases... plus that can alter their body shape to store even more fat around the abdomen so of course it's important to eat well

  • @ByeByeBelly I fully recognize the psychological difficulties, and am not diminishing them in the slightest, as I have struggled with the same in the past. I am simply not tolerant of, nor willing to listen to, arguments that weight gain or loss is somehow beyond anyone's control. People are more apt to make excuses for their behavior, these days, rather than correct the wrong behavior. i find it irresponsible to humor such misconceptions. That does not mean changing your entire life is easy.

  • @17thknight I find it irresponsible to humor bigoted character judgments against people based on how much space they take up.

The fact that successful weight loss and maintenance is all but impossible for most people is well-established medically, and certainly anecdotally, as millions of fat people who eat extremely healthfully and exercise regularly can attest.

  • @eljagg01 "all but impossible." What a SICKENING statement. Wieght loss is about personal responsibility. ANYONE can go jog 5 miles a day. ANYONE can do home workouts for 1 hour a day. ANYONE can get themselves physically fit. It isn't "all but impossible". That is fucking ludicrous. People like you are enabling people to live unhealthy (and FATAL) lifestyles with your excuse-making bullshit. You are a BAD PERSON, do you realize that?

  • @17thknight Parroting your (uneducated) opinion endlessly hardly makes it true, dear, nor does insulting me.

  • @eljagg01 If you really think I'm going to read all that shit you are out of your mind.

Especially for someone so vastly ignorant that they think they are immune to basic physics.

But you're right, I"m sure you're capable of creating energy out of nothing and that matter and energy do not convert in the case of fat people. They are immune to the laws of physics. IT"S AMAZING!!!

  • @17thknight So you ask for evidence that diet and exercise are not the only factors in obesity, I provide it, and then you refuse to read it? How intellectually-dishonest can you get?

FYI: We're talking chemistry here, sweetie, not physics.

  • @eljagg01 Protip: Eating less and exercising more, REGARDLESS of what you put into your mouth, will make you lose weight. Period. You could do this on a straight diet of chocolate and coke.

It's 100% about calories, and you're too dumb to realize how physics funciton, little boy.

  • @17thknight You've regurgitated the EXACT identical ignorance I called you out on in your very first post. You've refuted nothing I've said, and seem to prefer to ignore the well-known research I've provided on the subject because it doesn't support your uneducated opinion.

Stupidity is one thing, but willful ignorance quite another.
