I have the same car and it has been nothing short of magnificent. I didn't even need brake pads until 116,000 miles, and that was all it needed. Don't believe the "rotor lie". Unless you are a terrible driver, the brakes will last a long time on these cars. Damn, if I had the money, I'd buy this one! I have 145,000 on mine and still have original everything. Drive boots, water pump, everything. All I have done is replace the timing belt.
These things are %50 to %70 more expensive in Canada than a similar 2.0 gas model. Is it worth it?
