  • Comment removed

  • It makes a nice swing when you tie the other end onto a tree branch too

  • you can use it to liftlogs with a helicopter

  • Very useful. Its in my favourites.

  • Is there any real usage for that knot?

  • @54114142 A double loop knot that can be used to lift a person.

  • Could you use this as a replacement for a double figure of 8 (ie, bunny ears)??

I doubt it as it dont look too strong but you never know eh.

  • uuhm, what is this knot used for?

  • terbaik bro!!! mu le ckp bm x??

  • 0:26 looks like a frog

  • this is the knot the Somalian pirates use to raid the shipping lanes. The use the knot when hoisting up the main sail to haul ass when they find out they were trying to jack a warship instead of a cargo ship

  • Spanish people should be offended, they had to make a knot for you guys because they are so raciest they thought you couldn't of afford the real bow-ties...how mean

  • does it speak spanish???

  • @humxa24 thats a frekenstupid question

  • Looks like it would be a quick way to make a 'knot' very comfortable bosun's chair. (Nice job on the video.)

  • nice vid. very usefull

  • wow v nice

  • I did this knot by accident once, fuck was I proud of it !

  • the Bunny-Head knot?

  • DeadMau5???

  • DeadMau5

  • Probably used by the british pirates against the conquistadors to hang their balls and ask for mercy

  • And this is the reason the British crushed the Spanish Armada.

  • where did you learn all these nots?

  • what is the use of it?

  • Wow, that's correct, but I learned to tie it a totally different way, in which one doesn't have to lay it out to keep it organized while tying.

  • how would the knot be used

  • O_O For some reason Bowline looked like Brownie

  • at 36 it looks like a ninja turtle

  • Way too long to tie a simple squeeze knot .

  • It is only long because he is explaining in detail how to do it

  • I call it, "The demented bunny".

  • If u look carefully it kinda looks like a frog at the begginingo

  • Nicely tied and demonstrated.

  • If used as a harness, be cognizant of "compartment syndrome." Especially if you are in it as a harness for a long time or if it is constricting.

  • This knot, for the people that do not know, is used as a harness, by puting your legs between the loops and the leads coming up facing you, or you can put your feet into the loops and swing around. The harness can be used for many things.

  • @Pyrobox32

Since when is a constrictor knot used for a harness?

  • @RRydnew the double bowline was once commonly used as an expedient solution for a rappelling harness

  • whats this not used for?

  • nice not

  • cool now you can hang 2 people at the same time. lol

  • no, this knot doesn't slip with both loops at the same time, but rather allows to "balance" both loops sizes

  • @Blackmetalstudios not not really

  • @Blackmetalstudios 4 words: handcups

  • @Blackmetalstudios How is this funny an any way, same on you guys who thumbed im up >:(

  • @Kiwikilljoy Lighten up killjoy

  • @Kiwikillj TRRROOOOLLLLL!!!!!!!!!

  • BUNNY!!!!XD

  • isnt that the same the bowline on the bite?

  • That knot is similar to the double butterfly knot.

  • aww its a bunny rabbit!

    XD

  • u can hang someone by theyr hands or feet with that

  • i tried it, great feeling, it s even simpler when you wrap the loops around your fingers first, one finger for each smal and two fingers for the big loop

  • bunny wabbit!!!

    U IS NOTTY!!!

    lol

  • Great method, very simple and easy to follow.

  • Thats the first time ive seen that one, very nice. Ive seen and know hundreds of knots, but i tip my hat to ya on that one. Its a knew one on me that. Looks similar to a julie hitch, but nope thats a knew one cheers. well done.

  • hey gd vid but wat can this knot be used for?

  • Makes a great harness in the middle of a line. Just put your legs through the loops. Can also be used to hang tools and gear.

  • what fucking retard down thumbed this? you are absolutley correct.

  • @rotostart2 commonly used as a last-minute survivor harness

  • @rotostart2 lmgtfyDOTcom/?q=spanish+bowline

  • @rotostart2 You can attach the bowlines to the topsails of your galleon with this knot, after which you are ready to raid British ships in the caribbean

  • @rotostart2 handcuffs

  • @rotostart2 u can use it in ship works ( seaman ) or in helicopter. or etc

  • @rotostart2 choking 2 people at the same time.

  • This guy is awesome, Thank you for taking the time to do this...

  • This knot is also called the sheepshank

  • thats not a sheepshank cutie :)

  • Comment removed

  • sorry sora your mistaken. Thats not a sheepshank. I think your confused by the two loops either end in forming the knot. Sheep shank is used to shorten a length of rope without cutting it.

  • Dang how do you do all these things your awesome

  • This is the BEST explanation of how to tie this knot I've seen. Kudos!
