I see too little musical relation from the conductor to what is happening in real time. Sort of going on musical auto-pilot from a conducting standpoint. Listen to the articulation in the faster section....is it together after you try to fix it? No. Tempo is too fast, really. Gesture is only part of the package. We need to see real involvement in the music making, rather than trying to look like James Keene, or whomever. Generally tto grandiose and self-important. It's about the music.
