  • So why arent the Black boxed pressed like the coffee box?

  • @Weltbevoelkerung because the coffe box had air in it so was compressed by the water. The black boxes allow water to flow inside so they don't compress. :-)

  • @Weltbevoelkerung

Coffee cans (and similar) are made of thin metal with much of the air removed to create a semi-vacuum (you can hear air rush in when the can is punctured). Black boxes (sealed, but no vacuum) are made of thicker metal with a rigid frame inside to maintain the shape. While both can obviously be crushed by a strong enough impact, the coffee can will always go well before the sturdier black box.

  • @Weltbevoelkerung I think I get your question... The coffee containers are much more easily crushed, and when the craft hit the water, the cans simply compressed, from the sudden deceleration, much like they do, if you were to stand on one. The force would be comperable, in essence, but would be ONLY from the weight of the can, itself. They are saying that the gravitational forces were HUGE. If the cans were crushed, from undersea pressure, they would have imploded at a constant rate.

  • Auto Pilot doesnt work when there's something wrong with the Air Speed indicators

  • Man, I don't like this new YT set-Up!!!!
