Officer Levandowski was the 1st officer on scene @ the greenhouse after Kurt's body was discovered. His typed report makes mention of certain aspects of the crime scene, but not the position of the empty shell casing as it first lay when he entered the room. The shell's position isn't described until the follow up reports of Yoshida/Kirkland. Levandowski, Fewel, & Gretchman had been photographing the crime scene, & had moved the note to get better pictures. It's likely they moved the shell, too.
the most convincing evidence.. one could not shoot up as much as what was in his system [heroin] and then shoot themselves, they would've already been out cold..(if you only consume pills there's a difference- &some other substance was found in his system too but i cant recall right now what it was).. the gun was also placed in the opposite direction than where it Should have been considering the entry wound. Knowing those two facts alone, how could you not be convinced it wasn't suicide?

The empty shell casing is described by Yoshida/Kirkland as being to Kurt's left, but the ejection port of the gun was facing Kurt's right, I think that might be what you're thinking of?

I have heard rumor in the comments sections of some of these videos of Grant gearing up to tour the US doing public appearances sometime in the near future, ostensibly to ignite/rekindle public interest in the case, but I have nothing to substantiate that with beyond what other people have said. I'll be interested to see what, if any, new information he brings to the table as well.

Neither Tom Grant, nor anyone else, has ever been able to "prove" foul play in Cobain's case. Grant can only offer tapes of Love that he *thinks* prove she had motive to have Kurt killed, and even both Halperin & Wallace have said that they didn't find anything that they considered to be "smoking gun" evidence of murder. The card was canceled, so the bank can't speak for the dates or locations that the questioned charge attempts were made, they can only speak for when the charges posted on their database. It sometimes takes a few days for charges to post, so (with the information available) it's plausible that the attempts were made while Kurt was still alive. IMHO the "missing card" is questionable from both angles.

They couldn't show someone with that high of a tolerance on a video cause it is against the law to have a person shoot up that amount of heroin, heroin alone, even if it is for medical purposes. It is legal though to have someone use methadone then perform the one legged test, which they did in the video. I have worked in the ER for six years
and have seen addicts that use EVERYDAY probably more that Kurt who OD and were near death and incapitated within seconds, from what their friends say. Narcan was the only thing to save these indivuals lives. So I believe it is impossible to perform the tasks they say Kurt did before he suposodly killed himself. According to people who are tops in drug study, no one could have that much heroin/morphine in his blood and kill himself with a shotgun. Heroin isn't like a lot of other drugs, so you can't do a comparison.
Yes, that's what I meant, there was too much heroin/morphine in his blood. But there is another drug, you can take it and you are able to have this portion heroin in blood AND you can still pull the trigger.

heh its quite hard to believe the points some of you describe as Kurt was getting healthy when he was admitted into rehab/detox a week before his death...it takes months to detox from opiates
Actually he had been through detox before (a year of it) and taking barbituates to relieve his stomach pain (which is why he was a junkie in the first place), so towards the end of his life, he was taking very little opiates. And the rehab wasn't for the heroin, it was for the tranquilisers in Rome that he OD'd on with alcohol (an easy mistake to make as the two don't mix well) and nearly died. He left because he felt he didnt need to be there.
you are not a drug addict and do not understand what you are talking about you are recycling info you have read in interviews the polished lies. His stomach problems were from years of improper diet. It also was a good excuse for his drug use. He didn't want to live the rest of his life sober however he would not be allowed to be with his daughter if he used drugs and when you are that addicted it's game over for you. He didn't want to make a choice so he made an easier one.
His stomach had a pinched nerve inside. He did have stomach pain - but I do not think this is an entire excuse to take so much heroin. Tylenol may have worked... and he did have the problem diagnosed so he could have taken other less powerful pain killers. That being said I do have pity for his pinched nerve pain.

Officer Levandowski was the 1st officer on scene @ the greenhouse after Kurt's body was discovered. His typed report makes mention of certain aspects of the crime scene, but not the position of the empty shell casing as it first lay when he entered the room. The shell's position isn't described until the follow up reports of Yoshida/Kirkland. Levandowski, Fewel, & Gretchman had been photographing the crime scene, & had moved the note to get better pictures. It's likely they moved the shell, too.

the most convincing evidence.. one could not shoot up as much as what was in his system [heroin] and then shoot themselves, they would've already been out cold..(if you only consume pills there's a difference- &some other substance was found in his system too but i cant recall right now what it was).. the gun was also placed in the opposite direction than where it Should have been considering the entry wound. Knowing those two facts alone, how could you not be convinced it wasn't suicide?

The empty shell casing is described by Yoshida/Kirkland as being to Kurt's left, but the ejection port of the gun was facing Kurt's right, I think that might be what you're thinking of?

I have heard rumor in the comments sections of some of these videos of Grant gearing up to tour the US doing public appearances sometime in the near future, ostensibly to ignite/rekindle public interest in the case, but I have nothing to substantiate that with beyond what other people have said. I'll be interested to see what, if any, new information he brings to the table as well.

Neither Tom Grant, nor anyone else, has ever been able to "prove" foul play in Cobain's case. Grant can only offer tapes of Love that he *thinks* prove she had motive to have Kurt killed, and even both Halperin & Wallace have said that they didn't find anything that they considered to be "smoking gun" evidence of murder. It's all a big, fat clusterfuck of misconceptions, misinterpretations, speculations and rumors. Throw some sloppy police work and Courtney Love's crazy ass on top of all that.

-morphine in his blood 1.52mg: a lie by the seattle post intelligencer citing "a source".The autopsy is confidential.
-lack of fingerprints: bullshit, 6 fingerprint cards were lifted.
-the note: a washington state handwriting forensic determined it was written by Kurt. What other experts with bad copies printed from the internet think is not legit. You need the original to see where the trace of a certain letter starts and ends, pressure, etc.

The card was canceled, so the bank can't speak for the dates or locations that the questioned charge attempts were made, they can only speak for when the charges posted on their database. It sometimes takes a few days for charges to post, so (with the information available) it's plausible that the attempts were made while Kurt was still alive. IMHO the "missing card" is questionable from both angles.

They couldn't show someone with that high of a tolerance on a video cause it is against the law to have a person shoot up that amount of heroin, heroin alone, even if it is for medical purposes. It is legal though to have someone use methadone then perform the one legged test, which they did in the video. I have worked in the ER for six years

In a hundred years people will still be listening to Nirvana, while Hole is a footnote (and only because CL was married to Kurt).

You're speaking of your friends. My daughter and her friends do listen to Nirvana, though not all the time. It may not be listened to as much as in the past, but people still listen. You didn't mention Green Day which my daughter is really into. And I was trying to make a point, influential means artists today are influenced by Nirvana. That means artists of today like Nirvana songs.

The bigger point is there was too much morphine in his blood for him to be able to pull the trigger.

According to people who are tops in drug study, no one could have that much heroin/morphine in his blood and kill himself with a shotgun. Heroin isn't like a lot of other drugs, so you can't do a comparison.

Yes, that's what I meant, there was too much heroin/morphine in his blood. But there is another drug, you can take it and you are able to have this portion heroin in blood AND you can still pull the trigger.
But there are so many things that show that it was no suicide, I just can't believe that the police didn't noticed that.

It makes a difference because 68 young people killed themselves shortly after Kurt's death because they believed that's how he died, and people are still thinking suicide is an option because of that lie. More have died, and more will likely die. That's wrong on so many levels.

Not Kurt Cobain, not Courtney Love. There is clearly more proof to place on David Grohl. You all act like he's innocent. "He was in the band, he didn't hurt a fly!" Let me be one of the very first to laugh at that. He's got EYES LIKE A MURDERING THUG, and he had plans for the Foo Fighters long before he joined Nirvana. I don't know if he had plan for foo fighters way before he joined Nirvana because that would be pre 1991. It is fact that he began recording the first album by himself as early as 1994. He was going to be in both bands, supposedly Dave Grohl looked up to Kurt,and was drastically troubled by his death. I don't think he would kill him, anything is possible tho. Courtney Love would have more motive; money.

Kurt didn't want to lose Frances to CPS again so he wasn't 'using' even close to the degree he had before and he wanted a divorce. Kurt's death was a horrible tragedy and an unbelievable loss. People, please go to the justice for kurt website and sign the petition to re-open the case: There is no statute of limitations for murder. Tom Grant has enough evidence to put Courtney, er, Michelle Harrison and her cohorts away for life. In cases of premeditation, special circumstances could apply!

heh its quite hard to believe the points some of you describe as Kurt was getting healthy when he was admitted into rehab/detox a week before his death...it takes months to detox from opiates

Actually he had been through detox before (a year of it) and taking barbituates to relieve his stomach pain (which is why he was a junkie in the first place), so towards the end of his life, he was taking very little opiates. And the rehab wasn't for the heroin, it was for the tranquilisers in Rome that he OD'd on with alcohol (an easy mistake to make as the two don't mix well) and nearly died. He left because he felt he didnt need to be there.

you are not a drug addict and do not understand what you are talking about you are recycling info you have read in interviews the polished lies. His stomach problems were from years of improper diet. It also was a good excuse for his drug use. He didn't want to live the rest of his life sober however he would not be allowed to be with his daughter if he used drugs and when you are that addicted it's game over for you. He didn't want to make a choice so he made an easier one.

His stomach had a pinched nerve inside. He did have stomach pain - but I do not think this is an entire excuse to take so much heroin. Tylenol may have worked... and he did have the problem diagnosed so he could have taken other less powerful pain killers. That being said I do have pity for his pinched nerve pain.

Look. If you listen to Kurts music, it clearly defines how upset and depressed and fed up he was. Read Charles Cross biography, it's an inside look and goes through interviews etc. Courtney Love, yes is dominant...she's a feminist and strong minded but she loved her husband and her family. Kurt perhaps said to her to kill him maybe because he didnt want to be here anymore. But com'on. He's dead ANYWAY and he probably would have died waaay before now from all the Herion he took.
