  • How did I miss this? I am so excited for you!!! What's funny is in the framing stage the rooms look smaller. Once they drywall it looks bigger go figure. Had that happen on two houses we had built here in Florida. The first one we never got to live in and made me really sad because I loved that one it was little less formal than this one and had a huge covered screened porch in back.

  • when will it be finished and ready?

  • How exciting to see your new home going up! Its going to be amazing! I have watched some of your previous vids tonight to catch up a little. So sorry about the job and the having to lay off Kathy your soon to be ex boss is an ass for sure. I just know your going to get an amazing job that will suit you just fine! Sorry I haven't been around my laptop was broken, just got it back yesterday.

    Love ya Bro!

  • That is going to be great. You can take a camera into the model house no problem.

I do it all the time to get ideas for my house when we do a project, I like to see what the trends are or take pictures of things I might like to do with my house. I see lots of people with cameras. I know you are excited!

    hugs

  • You house looks so wonderful!!

    Pam

  • So exciting, we renovated our house in 3 stages, and its so nice to see all your plans coming together.

  • @billyCtv Thanks Billy!

  • No basement? All homes around here have basements, interesting!

I can see the rooms! Just like you described them. It is coming together nicely, it does go really fast once they get started doesn't it?

    woot!

  • @yoyomax12 There are some houses around here that have basements, but most of them are older houses. One builder we looked at did basements, but they were charging a fortune for their house and with mom not being able to do stairs it wasn't that attractive to me, although I've always wanted a basement. Maybe my next house! LOL

I should take the camera to the model house. It is the same floor plan as mine. But it would be hard to explain what I was doing to the people there!

  • It's gonna be awesome Lori! =)

  • @EmGeesPlace It will be fun to watch it progress!

  • How awesome is this? I remember doing this and it brings back fond memories. So exciting :))))

  • @silverscreamgrl Makes it so much more real to actuall walk in it and there are windows and walls, doesn't it? I hope it all works out. I'm trying not to fall in love with it, but it is probably too late! LOL

  • Wow your house is going to look really nice!! I can't wait to see the finish product!!

  • @COOLIKEDATAZIAN I plan on doing videos as it goes along. It will be fun to watch it turn into a house!

  • Very open and airy ;)

  • @Myk63 LOL yes, a little too open and airy! I think I'll talk to the contractor!

  • It's beautiful! Or it will be. Congratulations!!!! I know you're excited. Thanks for taking us along - I should have brought champagne.

  • @thizizliz Yes, I'm excited and scared. Kind of too scared to get totally over the moon excited until I get a job! It was fun to walk through it and imagine.

  • @AmethystButterflyGrl So true. Once you choose a position (or it chooses you) it will be easier. But in the meantime, you can start imagining where your furniture can go and picture yourselves living there. I only bought one house by myself and it was a long time ago but it was exciting and I was so happy there. I still think it was the prettiest place I ever lived because all the colors went together so well. It all started with the fabric for the window treatments in the front room. Fun!

  • Looks Like It's Coming Up Fast.... Oh, It's Going To Be So Great when You All Move In!

  • @SWTPEA64 Yes, kind of scary how fast it is going up. But it is what it is! :)

  • What an awesome layout for you and Mom! Is the front porch area gonna be covered so you can put a nice bench under the window to the left of the door?

Im so excited for you sweetie!

Sending you all the good vibes I can for your upcoming interviews:-)

    LYG and HUGS

  • @1DRock37167 Yes, the front porch is covered and I already found a cute bench I want to put right under that window. I am also going to get a stool or something for Bella so she can look out the front window since they are very low windows. Getting nervous about interview this morning!
