my dad named me casey when he heard this song. it took them three days aftr i was born to have them finally come up with this name and i guess they didn't even come up with it by themselves. sometimes i hate my name cuz more guys have the name, but now that hes told me this i like it a lot more. I didn't even no this song existed till now....
R.I.P. Dan Seals. You will be greatly missed in the hearts of millions. Your music has tought us a lesson or few, but have a great after life like you lived down here. I love your music, you will be GREATLY missed in my heart, all I know is that my heart has been broken too many times to count and soon will break and I will never be able to love again. So please do me a favor, please have a great afterlife and let everybody else enjoy and get to know you Dan Seals, The Country Legend.
Nice song; I enjoyed listening to it. I was unaware of Dan Seals' death until I hit this song. He definitely ranks in the "will be greatly missed" category.
Sad news for country music fans: Daniel Wayland Seals, the Texas-born, CMA-award-winning singer who piled up 11 No. 1 songs between 1985 and 1990, passed away yesterday after a battle with mantle cell lymphoma. Initially known to pop fans as the "England Dan" half of England Dan and John Ford Coley, who had a No. 2 single in 1976 with the soft-rocking classic "I'd Really Love to See You Tonight," he went on to forge an impressive solo career in Nashville.
@cdogg2799 look at our country it does not glitter now and we are all suffering the gold is in other countries and in washington

Daughter was about six when this song came out, she could not listen to it with out
tearing up. She is now 39 and still has the same reaction. A beautiful life song, by a wonderful singer.
