  • I was concerned about the engine being too hot as well, but I read and discovered it's only a few degrees warmer and not enought to seriously dammage the engine, so I went for it. You could also mask off the fins and leave them silver for a cool effect and black the rest of the engine. In my opinion it's not that much of a difference, but is there such a thing as too careful? Maybe not. Hope that helped.

  • Most of the chrome is blacked out including the engine with gold effects all throughout the badges and wheel accents. A very cool look.

  • No baffles were removed. This bike was left in a barn for 10 years and is practically original. It is really quiet when not reved.

  • thats a rare bike man. It sounds good.. did you remove the baffles? I have an 82' XV750 Virago but it doesnt sound quite as nice.
